  1. Its weird, I hadn't seen my housemate in two day, I look at this thread, and I finally see him, turns out he's been hiding out in his room playing EAW. I guess that means its a good game.
  2. Of course with JE theres always the dual tass tapping, something made unavailable to you in kotor

(w00t) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I can't believe we spend that much on foreign aid. Obviously we are a much more generous country then I ever knew. Bulfinch's Mythology: The Age of Chivalry The Legends of Charlemagne
  5. Well I always seem them on emusic and wonder, I guess now I'll stop wondering and give it a try. Ya, So long and Thanks For All the Shoes is one of the most underrated albums. Old 97's -- Big Brown Eyes sometimes I wonder if this song really has another meaning
  6. Spoon, are they really any good? NOFX -- I'm All Out of Angst So I'm off to pakistan, learn the laws of islam Fundamemtalism, forget that rock-n-roll No cigarettes, no drink, in fact It's difficult to think about getting laid When you don't even get to see her face I'm not insane
  7. You can see her fine posterior on the cover of this months Vanity Fair. Yummmmy
  8. Looks like a good time was had by all, congrats to Eldar and his main squeeze.
  9. A friend got us into a semi-advance screening of 16 blocks tonight. I had never heard of the movie and was somewhat dumbfounded when one of my friends started describing it as probaly being Die-Hard IIIish with crooked cops in the cab ride to the theater. This movie really started to eat at me the first time Mos Def opened his mouth and proceded to get worse and worse. This was only the 2nd time I've walked out on a movie (Any Given Sunday) but luckily there are several bars within walking distance of the theater.
  10. I don't know if its just that I waited until everyone had hyped it up so much to see Kill Bill or what, but I never much liked it. Kill Bill 2 just sort of made me sleepy.
  11. "Hi, I'm Jim Fix, I'm dead now and I don't know what the **** happened. I jogged everday, ate nothing but tofu, swam five hundred laps every morning and I'm dead, Yul Brynner drank, smoked and got laid every night of his life, he's dead. ****."
  12. It kinda stinks though, out of that whole bit its the only part most people have heard.
  13. Sonic Youth -- Expressway to Your Skull(Live at the Continental Club)
  14. or you could contact Waterloo Music here in Austin, between them and Waterloo Video they have everything Hicks http://www.waterloorecords.com/
  15. Elliott Smith -- Needle in the Hay "He's wearing your clothes Head down to toes a reaction to you You say you know what he did But you idiot kidYou don't have a clue Sometimes they just get caught in the eye You're pulling him through" Probaly the best song ever written by someone who stabbed themself to death.
  16. Renaissance-type flare?
  17. How about a game were you have to spell things in the Star Wars Universe correctly? Any ideas for a good title?
  18. Neil Young -- Horse With No Name
  19. I'd have to ask myself, would it be worth living if I were to be thought of as Canadian? Sometimes death is a blessing. Now if there was a sign saying "Buckwheats ahead for Texans" then I would have some serious thinking to do.
  20. I would never lie about my nationality, I'm a Texan :D
  21. Waking Life was a big hit here in Austin, I would think alot if it had to do with the local flavor. If you really liked the film I'd suggest you might want to look into The Cruise. It is a documentary about one of the guys in Waking Life who gives tours of New York, Timothy Levitch. I really liked it. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0150230/
  22. Bill Hicks was the ****en man. I have several friends who had the privilege of seeing him live here in Austin. I'll always be remissed that he wasn't alive to share his views on the invasion of Iraq, and 9/11. I'll always love his commentary on the Gulf War. How he marveled at the technology our government has produced and then asked the question: "Couldn't this same technology be used to shoot food at hungry people? Look there's a guy who needs a bananna: whoooosh" Still though his best bit was probaly the one about the Hooligans @Weiser Cain: I'm sure George Michael and Debbie Gibson share your opinion
  23. I disagree, Citizen Kane is a great movie by any standards. The fact that it was groundbreaking only adds to it's greatness.
  24. I've noticed a bad trend of deflecting criticism towards Gabs.
  25. Not even if the game is good?
