So, Is this game delayed or not?
Kelverin replied to TheWatcher's topic in Alpha Protocol: General Discussion
Delayed? Too bad. Back to SoZ. See next year! Hey OBI spend some time reading the fleming novels and adding more to the "Bond" type character. This might be a blessing in disguise, good thing Sawyer was not involved in this he might have gone over the edge -
NCAA 2010 - Messing with sliders, I believe it's impossible to achieve a good set, especially with home field advantage turned on, seems to be broken since I always win on the road and get thrashed at home SoZ - Started another solo game with a Grey Dwarf Cleric. Kicking ass so far. Madden 2008 (2010 mod) - Coach mode 3rd week of the season.

No, no no! Don't listen to "a lot of people"

Took 2 out of 3 and was this close to tying/going ahead in the 9th the game we lost 11-10. It's surprising how we have always struggled against the rockies. The bad part about us playing well lately is that management will be content with what we have and not try to spend money on the roster to improve.

I like the wild card, hate the DH and the American league brand of baseball. Games should not last 4 hours. Hockey playoffs are the best of any sport even my beloved football, now the regular season lasts too long however....I am all for 6 months of regular season hockey (during the NFL) and 6 months playoff hockey when there is no football

This explains so much

Exercise? No thanks interferes with my drinking and smoking. Have fun

Damn lost 11 - 10, close but no cigar. Can't stand "baseball" at coors field what a joke the park is.

NWN2 and SOZ, five bucks each on Direct 2 Drive.

Only if you have a ****ty DM, but that can be said for any rule set. -

Money and time spent, another good chance for the DM to have events pass as time goes by. -

In 3rd edition you lose experience for creating items, how is that logical? -

The rules are relevant and very much a part of the game and does effect quality, your logic is flawed. How much time was/is spent in making sure the rules are implemented correctly? Could those resources be used elsewhere? I believe they could be used in character/story/NPC/World development. I have played this game in one form or other since the 70's. Core 2nd edition was pretty tight, only rules I allowed in my 6 year campaign, nice system, but with all the handbooks and other supplements did what you described, that's why I never allowed them. Do you have any information on how much time was spent implementing the rules for 2e games and 3.5e games? Why would implementing one be inherently more difficult than the other? There was plenty of stupid outdated stuff in the core rules as well, things like different classes advancing at different speeds(poor druids), some class-race combinations being banned for no good reason. THAC0, which was a needlessly complicated mechanic and fell apart at higher levels and the saving throw system that made little to no sense. Sure it worked and you could have fun with it, but my point is that 3.5e was a big step forward. If you are a rules person than maybe, but rules always get in the way of players having fun and using their imagination. So far as my experience has shown. I have no issues with classes advancing slower faster than others did not bother me, no but losing experience for creating something does, clerics getting insta heal spells, no class restrictions.........I could go on and on I have no proof of the extra amount of work it would take to implement all the feats/other rule changes in 3rd edition in a Crpg but I would imagine it's tough to do and have it work correctly. Aren't some of them still bugged after all these years (NWN2) -
Tonight begins the series were we help knock out the rockies. GO PADRES

As serious as a heart attack, just think how much more development time was spent on things that matter because you had a simple set of guidelines for each race/class. The quality of 2nd edition games prove this. Hell most of the time spent on playing 3rd edition is finding out how to get uberpowerful builds. Some geeks love that stuff not this one. -

No it is not. Can't agree here. SoZ works for me but IWD is in my top 5 games of all time. -
Just like real football it's not how you start, but how you finish.

Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008) - Not bad, prefer the original but a fun ride nonetheless.

Fun game Captain Obvious Because it's awesome and worth more -
I lost 10 games already, what a terrible week. Now if I can only beat gifted.....Go gmen

Agree, NWN2 could have done a serious job of editing, less combat and more NPC/world interaction.
-
There was a little more than that, a ton of dialog was written for the game. The world seemed alive with events happening everywhere. Now the quality of the writing and the depth of characters is debatable but the amount is not.

Who cares as long as the story is good. I am not a fan of 3rd edition but NWN2 plus expansions have been keeping me entertained for endless hours.
