Yeah, it's getting nasty. Losing to Philly is particularly painful. Still 5-3 is not terrible; they'll have their chances to get back in it. With Kenny Phillips on IR, the pass defense is just awful. Run any kind of fake at C.C. Brown (not sure if it stands for "Can't Cover" or "Complete Crap") and the receiver is going to be open. Combine that with the slowest LB corps in the league, and you've got a recipe for any decent offense plowing up the field at will. We can hope that the return of Michael Boley, Aaron Ross, and Chris Canty to the active roster will help, but I have my doubts. Well at least you will win next week with the chargers coming in to town. A cure all for teams that are struggling, watch for Merriman to pick up 2-3 sacks though
