  16. Arrogant? Maybe, holier-than-thou? Without a doubt. His main concern seems to be the price he has to pay for fruits and vegetables, those that do not agree with him are bigots and racists, you tell me who is arrogant? I do not know all the numbers and what they mean beyond the fact that health care costs, education, police and any number of public services have been effected by illegals here in a negative way to deny that fact is ignorant of whats happening here. I have intimate knowledge of illegals, and their plight, not only that but a profound knowledge of visa and immigration laws. I don't need to read about it or post links to educate you, you are responsible for that yourself. When discussing politics it usually does not matter anyway since all involved have their own agenda and find facts to back up their beliefs. That's why I hate discussing this crap, it's pointless, and time consuming.
  17. Not familiar with California classroom sizes? So my 6 year old who is in school and is with what 30-40 kids 1 teacher should suffer because maybe in the long term the illegals might be productive members of society? mmm ok As a teacher in California with an average class size of 36, I'm really disappointed to read this post. I would never dream of turning away one of my students, and the idea that your son's education is being harmed by the presence of illegals is fairly repugnant. These are children. We should try to help educate every last one of them, regardless of their parent's history. You can do a better job with less kids in the classroom bottom line, who said anything about turning people away. They should not be here in the first place. We should do this and that but utopia is not economically feasible no matter how much we dream it is.
  18. Short-term costs with long-term positive effects? Not familiar with California classroom sizes? So my 6 year old who is in school and is with what 30-40 kids 1 teacher should suffer because maybe in the long term the illegals might be productive members of society? mmm ok
  19. Browns trade WR Edwards to Jets "The Cleveland Browns traded wide receiver Braylon Edwards to the New York Jets, according to multiple sources. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed. According to NFL.com sources, the Jets traded third-year wide receiver Chansi Stuckey, third-year linebacker Jason Trusnik and two undisclosed draft picks." http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d8...mp;confirm=true 49ers agree to 6-year deal with Crabtree SANTA CLARA, Calif.
  20. Week 5 Schedual Sunday, October 11 early games * Cleveland (0-4) at Buffalo (1-3, 2 loss) * Dallas (2-2 loss) at Kansas City (0-4) * Minnesota (4-0) at St. Louis (0-4) * Oakland (1-3, 2 loss) at NY Giants (4-0) * Tampa Bay (0-4) at Philadelphia (2-1, win bye) * Pittsburgh (2-2, win) at Detroit (1-3, loss) * Washington (2-2, win) at Carolina (0-3, bye) * Cincinnati (3-1, 3 win) at Baltimore (3-1, loss) Sunday, October 11 late games * Atlanta (2-1, loss, bye) at SF 49ers (3-1, win) * Jacksonville (2-2, 2 win) at Seattle (1-3, 3 loss) * Houston (2-2, win) at Arizona (1-2, loss, bye) * New England (3-1, 2 win) at Denver (4-0) * Indianapolis (4-0) at Tennessee (0-4) Monday, October 12 * NY Jets (3-1, loss) at Miami (1-3, win) Bye week: Chicago, Green Bay, New Orleans, San Diego
  21. Awesome game last night, although I had things to do so I was hoping it ended quicker. Congrats to Minn and their fans it has been a good week for them. As far the the playoffs are concerned I am hoping for an all California series why? F the rest of the world California's #1! With the NL representative taking it all once again to show the whole "this time it counts" All-Star game home field advantage fraud for what it is. Dodgers - Cardinals Rockies - Phillies Yankees - Twins I will be shocked if the Twins win a game, Yanks are fortunate that they do not have to play the Tigers. Red Sox - Angels Red Sox will win, but I'll take the Angles anyway.
  22. No it would not, rich people who use slaves erm illegal works would just have to live on a little less money. Hahahahahaha, good one, but seriously, the cost would be passed to the consumer. That's alright something has to be done. This issue is not going to fix itself. If it's too expensive the consumer will go elsewhere, then adjustments will need to be made and the market continues on and survives and thrives.

  24. I'll concede that illegals can take jobs away from US citizens, though IMO that's more through the minimum wage law. I'd find the issue less of an issue if both could compete on the same level for wages. But they are here illegally and do not deserve to compete, stay in your country and get the proper visa like the rest of the world does. $8.00 an hour does not go very far in CA as I indicated before, lowering the wage does not fix the problem it only causes more.
