I'm sure most of you have read about the drunken Santas that apparently wanted to "protest the commercialization of Christmas." What pisses me off is if you have a message, say it but don't make trouble for people. If you want to protest, don't block traffic (which affects everyone) by lying across the ground etc. If you want to burn yourself to make a statement fine, that's your choice. As soon as you do stupid things involving other people that piss them off, don't be surprised if they rip your head of. I suppose vigilanteism and assault is bad (dragging/kicking the road blockers off the street) but damn, they still have the gall to pretend to be the victims.

Well if making a game about an Italian plumber that crawls through pipes, stomps on things and grows after eating 'shrooms isn't innovative I don't know what is. Heck, even the rest of the world got into it which is probably an achievement in itself.

I haven't used it extensively though it looks promising. A global depositry of accumulated information sounds like a good idea.

I quit around the mission to blow up the warehouse. The game started freezing on me and my mild motion sickness for fps started kicking in. No denying that it was fun up till then.

Have you considered having our IP in a different format - writing or a setting pitched to gaming companies (tabletop, electronic) etc?

It could be that Ahmedinejad (sp?) is intentionally provoking others to get a reaction (sanctions etc) to play up "the West/Christians repress Muslims" or justify something drastic.

What's up with the massive greenhouse gas emissions in London? What a waste of fuel too. On a related note I watched some news about technology that pumps CO2 from refineries back underground where it's trapped. That seems like a good idea to cut emissions down if implemented worldwide. Of course, energy prices would carry on the costs.

Having most of the Euros getting easy groups that they'll probably get through just perpetuates the belief that they're better than the US. Germany and Spain's groups are jokes.

The 2002 Portugal was supposed to be the last chance for the Golden Generation with Rui Costa, Figo and a few others. It was supposed to be better than the team at the Euro Cup. I think many people underestimated the US and probably continue to do so. It wouldn't be too outrageous for the US to progress past their group. If they were in a more average group, I would strongly tip them to get into the 2nd stage.

If USA was in another group they'd be owning mini-Europeans. Actually maybe they'll get through, considering how they owned Portugal and several others in the last world cup.

France is so awesome that they need to recall their pensionerse to make a decent team.
