Unless of course you find out that selling out would gain you more. Also some would say that you find out more about yourself in adversity than if you were to just continue living life. That's just wrong. Reality is against you, as are the Germans themselves that have a dim outlook on their chances at the World Cup that they'll be hosting next year. Credit to the US - they've done very well and are getting better (great show at last WC) but they don't get tested seriously because of their geography. They usually play against caribbean teams, Mexico (which is rated). The best yardstick would probably be performances against the South Americans when they're invited to the Copa America - but even then it's against weakened sides since many of the top players don't want to leave Europe. I think many people underestimate USA, especially the Denmark dude that said they'd cane the USA. No. But neither is it realistic to say the USA is ahead of the old hands.

I think it boils down to the prisoner's dilemma - you aren't willing to sacrifice for the greater good unless you can trust others. As Eldar said, there will always be others that seek to advance their position at the expense of others. Trust is a fragile thing - especially when the stakes are as high as to affect the future of nations.

Btw on musculature - some of those pics are just wrong. I'd prefer to be toned and sculpted but not freakish. It's as bad as bad a bad breast implant job - it no longer looks natural. At the end of the day I'd still like to look good/fit in a suit.

Profesional soccer players work on upper body strength too - you see it a lot when they swap jerseys at the end of he match - might be worth waiting for the final whistle for the ladies. I was surprised that Cristiano Ronaldo who's like 20 is crazy toned. In general though they don't get to the huge sizes which I think is good. Anyway the logic on working on strength is that you're not so easily pushed off the ball when you're in posession. Of course it's also useful when you're tackling.

I'm of the opinion that the perspective should have both. I'm pretty sure God would be happy for us to find out how things work. Of course I'm for looking for the meaning beyond the surface - *knowing* the teachings vs reading/memorising (Planescape Circle of Zerthimon parallel) so some people might take exception because I don't fall into their stereotype. It probably takes more thinking and reading carefully (that's my take why Christians are encouraged to read the Bible themselves), but it may have better rewards at least to the individual. Of course it's dangerous to have wacky interpretations (cults etc) thats why you need to make sure you have a firm foundation of the teachings of Christianity.

Another Q about classes: Say I'm a lvl 4 fighter, if I decide to become a mage and reach lvl 5 or more do I get back my lvl 4 fighter skills? What if I keep switching back and forth through the game? Is that extendable to the 3rd class (theif)?
