What's marketing's estimate of a good time (before expected release) to start releasing info?

^Could be the problem I had. I was using the latest (well about 2 months old) drivers for ATI.

I read with interest that Obsidian was renovating more of the building in anticipation of taking more projects. How many projects/teams do you guys plan to run at a time? I remember reading that the bosses wanted to keep it medium sized so everyone knows everyone or something like that.

Is there any way to fix the memory leak?

If it's a Kenshin thing, I'd say Shishio if he wasn't handicaped. Kenshin's master also is powerful but perhaps lacking the killer instinct.

It's replay value to me. It's quite exhilerating to cast high-level spells on things like rats etc.

It's not out of the realms of reality to have games getting backing by special interest/political groups if they have some kind of message that they're pushing. Don't know how much I'd like that I suppose. As long as they're realistic and fairly balanced, I don't mind. One issue worth exploring is the ability (responsibility?) to make a difference and whether or not to shirk it, even if it's unpopular.

Sounds fun! After playing through normally a few times I like to restart the game with my imported character that I'd finished the game with and feel the power as I play. I hope there's some (minor?) hidden roleplaying situations/dialogue to give a nod to players that do that. Say hidden stash in the beginning area that only super high level rogues can detect etc.

Bonus points: Name other stuff that expands when liquid -> solid or gas -> liquid.

Hm, I hate the mousy nerd girl with glasses stereotype. I agree, old dude would have lots of potential to annoy. Mandatory rest breaks, poorly timed "In my day..." interruptions in important dialogue/negotiating would annoy.

Curious (bordering on irritating) kids have thousands of questions. One of them's "Why does ice have a greater volume than the water it froze from?" Quite a basic question really. Well we know that in the process of becoming ice, water molecules shed their kinetic energy, huddle closer together, semi-lock into place and stop vibrating as much. Lovely, but why does ice increase in volume - the opposite of what you'd expect? I guess the most natural reaction would be air gets trapped in it and leave it at that. But the kid wants more. "Where's the air come from? If it's from the water, shouldn't the water's volume already take that into account? Would other elements behave the same way? Why or why not?" The annoying kid looks at you with shining (and naive) eyes, while you think of your answer. You briefly consider bribing the kid with a piece of candy to bother someone else, but you try to answer the question... Can you answer the qustion? Btw, there's no wikipedia in the real world, so no researching. Plus the kid's waiting and you discover that you're out of candy.

I doubt Obs would test Atari over a relatively small thing like this. Better to reserve prods over something like resource management (time etc) with reguard to the actual game.

If you want an animal then try some animal-spirit thing that can transform into human shape.

Will we get OE coffee mug coasters with the game?

Another thing that pisses me off is drunk driving. If you destroy your life or perhaps worse - end up disabled for life that's bad enough (impact on friends/family) but your problem. Putting other people at risk though is just unacceptable.
