AI Henchmen or a Controllable Party?
I'm sure the AI party is really pulling off l33t team manouvers but the player keeps screwing up their part and blames it on the others. <_<

PC Gamers, ahoy!
I'm pleasantly surprised to see Ceaser IV on the list. Heart of Empire: Rome's also another city builder so it'll be interesting how they bash heads against each other. Rise fo Legends looks interesting too.

Claiming space real estate
Humans have long progressed past primal instinct. There's society/morals and all the sticky rules involved.

Books!
Goodkind's the only writer that I feel compelled to read out of pleasure, which I suppose is sad since I should be reading more out of pleasure. Pratchett can be really good sometimes.

Claiming space real estate
Lets say NASA (or whoever) finds something really (really really) valuable with one of its probes (say the pathfinders on Mars etc), should they claim it as property as their country? I've considered that countries with either no financial/technological hope of sending their own probes or countries that couldn't be bothered to do so initially would raise a good ruckus, claiming that it should be "shared by mankind". However, it's not like they did anything to help. Or perhaps they could run a setup like medical patents - the discoverer gets exclusive rights for a few years (decades, centuries?) and then they lose the patent. Or maybe the discoverer gets a majority percentage and the rest of the world gets a smaller cut.

VtM: Bloodlines 1 Year Anniversary Q&A
Is it possible to do a katana build + good intel or charisma? What clan (no nos or feral ones)/stats would you recommend?

When will it end?
Well I'm sure after the Bush admin, candidates for the next presidency will be very eager to stress how shrewdly they'll handle the money.

When will it end?
I wonder how long it would take the US to pay off its debt if it channeled its foreign aid into repaying its debt. On the other hand a lot of the aid's run by non-government organisations so things could take awhile.

Believe
I started a poll a while back aimed towards people who don't believe in the existance of souls. Basically the question was since it doesn't exist to you and it's worthless, would you sell it to a person that approached you and offered you $500 for it, contract at the ready and all. To be fair most people stuck to their guns and said yes but there were a few that wanted to know if the guy knew something that they didn't about the value before signing up. As for the world of darkness, perhaps people are getting more distant. Human compassion may be breaking down to the point that people can get mugged on subway carriages while other people avert their eyes away from the incident just a few feet away. On the other hand, there is great potential for good to happen. Perhaps it is in darkness that light can shine brightly.

Plus the CSI guys might piece together what happened. Or maybe they're overated on tv

Blade thread
^Get a gun. For the owners of the blades out there: if a robber were to break into your house (since you're not going to carry the blades around anyway), how far would you go to stop the robber? Would seriously hurting or killing the person and the legal consequences be at the back of your mind or would you go all out berserk? A real fight would mean stopping your opponent's ability to attack or harm you. The faster and the fewer hits the better I suppose, but with blades and guns that could be considered "excessive force". For that reason I was thinking that training in a blunt weapon would be better. Breaking/cracking bones might be preferable to cleaning up the mess later I suppose.

Vampire, the Masquerade info
Could someone please summarise (well, feel free to go in-depth too) what the setting's about, who owns it and why it's cool? The Santa Monica part's all that I know about it and it's piqued my interest. Google isn't being very helpful. Maybe I should try wikipedia. Kthx.
