  1. It must really suck being an Indian or Chines bachelor looking for a wife.
  2. ^^ Well the files are fine as I understand it, he just can't move anything on the disk. How about rebooting into safe mode, that usually solves access problems.
  3. There is a backup feature in win 7, is that what you are using Walsh ?
  4. Back up everything and format the thing i guess, assuming you have the space. If it doesn't work after that, I would toss it, not worth the risk. Friend of mine had trouble moving stuff from his external HDDs and decided to run a defrag, half way through the program froze and the disks died. Lost everything on them.
  5. Ok. Was wondering whether I should truck around in another playthrough in expectation of more.
  6. So are we done, or is there one more ?
  7. Actually I have called up Atari support twice because I forgot my CD key and they just gave me a new one. I might have embellished a little bit and told them that the sticker wasn't on the inside cover. my suspicion is that those calls are so rare that they don't bother arguing about it. I have also heard tell of people being successful in simply begging them for one with a sob story of a lost CD case.
  8. Re imagining a society and it's founding myths is sort of a staple exercise of sci'fi, and indeed every vault is an example of the same, but the re imagined mythos of Joseph and Mary doesn't involve the PC very much. I wonder if someone at an Obsidian writing staff meeting suggested that the PC was the 'chosen one spoken of in the prophecy' and was met with a collective 'NO!'
  9. Sissy. Really ?. Bored the **** out of me, and I'm a sucker for Miyazaki films, so it's not like I mind animation being sentimental.
  10. Genade rifle with the range upgrade is what you want.
  11. Usually competing in one of these types of TV shows guarantees a very short career. Quite possibly very successful, but the operating word here is short. They turn into yesterdays news pretty fast.
  12. Finished it. Pretty meh. Wasn't bored or anything, but I don't think I'll ever play it again either.
  13. . Maybe I missed an encounter and my progression is buggered. It has started crashing on quick travel, which is a first for me.
  14. Disk could be dying, could be you installed some new security software that is meddling with your permissions. Obvious thing to try is simply rebooting with the drive in, next is disabling system file protection, don't leave it off though it's there for a reason.
  15. I'm seeing Honest Hearts on steam now. Is it any good. Does it have exploding heads... That started to feel like really cheap filler, fast.
  16. I don't suppose anybody will give me a new computer, preferably one that can play The Witcher #2. No?

    Darwin strikes again.
  18. ^^ Midlife crisis panic purchase, but it's still pretty cool.
  19. Why don't we have something like this instead of boring reality shows with chefs
  20. They wrote that in just for TV, lols. Wait, I figured it out ;the blood was, like, symbolic. Powerful stuff. That's Shakespearean writing right there.
  21. Save a tree... it would have to be one hell of a tree to merit my money. Can it do tricks...
  22. I'll get it when I have a computer that can play it.
  23. Those are all Japanese, I don't know any of them.
  24. Vishnu and Shiva would make kickass superheroes.
  25. I'm almost deaf in one ear, does that count.
