  1. It's pronounced 'deius', as in 'god in the machine', drunk spastic.
  2. lol. interviewer is close to falling down drunk.
  3. The game shipped with a fatal bug 2/3 into the game. I wonder if they even bothered addressing that. Anyway thanks for the link. I've asked for a refund, not sound to reward STEAM for being lazy.
  4. All STEAM offers in the way of help is a probably long dead link to activision support.
  5. You might want to hold back on getting it though, I did and I can't launch. The engine thinks I don't have enough video ram. You would think STEAM would have handled issues like that before offering it. The game is either dx8 or 9 and it doesn't play well with modern cards.
  6. This is from way back, from before vampires became lame.
  7. Integration happens when the kids go to the same schools, have the same interests etc. While I don't believe in forcing it, ghettos are usually not a positive factor.
  8. What's to discuss honestly. Whether we should meld into one national ideology, or accept that it isn't possible.
  9. Islamic terrorism accounts for around 10% of the total in Europe over the last 10 years. Maybe it's because we don't understand or at all appreciate religios motives that they seem that much more menancing.
  10. DW does add a lot of nifty features, including ways to keep your BB rating under control by offering a selection of Casus Bellis (if one or more applies), giving different BB modifiers for various actions. You can also chose whether or not you want to call on allies when going to war, so you can (with enough prestige) seriously gang up on select opponents when declaring wars, not just when being attacked. Of course, things sometimes comes back and bites you in the butt, because the AI does it too. As Byzantine Empire, I declared war on the lilliputanian state of Avignon, being only guaranteed by Portugal (defender of Catholic Faith). Portugal then declared war on me, summoning England and Spain to the conflict, Spain summoning France to the war, who again summoned all their sycophant vassal states. I was suddenly very alone in an all out war against all of Western Europe... Time for a reload Logitech makes the best gaming mouse, other than that stay away from them. You can't even download a driver without being forced into a survey. If you don't 'register' your hardware, they nag-screen you untill you do. I have never experienced that level of arrogance from any other hardware producre, ever.
  11. it still says 'August' on steam. That's open to a lot of interpretation.
  12. It's Boromir man. His credit that the first LotR movie turned out as well as it did. I kinda lost interest in that series as well with him out of it. Not sure why, but the rest was just... not as good. Probably not attributed to lack of Sean Bean, but true nonetheless.
  13. I guess he desperately wanted to feel important, nothing less than 1500 pages would do.
  14. Can you actually rebuild your char, I only saw the possibility of changing traits, not perks.
  15. Yes, well, except that dialouge is rarely any good. Bethesda possibly has the worst record of all, both when it comes to writing and voice acting. Personally I engage in dialouge when I get interested, when I don't I skip past it, even on the first playthrough, particularly Bethesda games.
  16. Yes, that's very scary. So is that feeling of falling, like you had just tripped over something and your brain is screaming 'must perform corrective action', but you can't because you are asleep. Actually it's just like that thing in inception, except it doesn't work. You don't wake up.
  17. Everyone who doesn't own capital gets shafted. As for the credit bubble, poor oversight with subsidized housing loans.
  18. I might watch season 2 when it's all available, but it's not interesting enough with Bean gone to try to keep up on a week to week basis.
  19. She's got to be in the plot somewhere with a cool sounding name like that.
  20. I can't help but chuckle at that. 'Adam Jensen' is a quintesentially Danish sounding name, but it just has none of the swagger and cool factor it gets when you say it with a heavy English or American accent. To a Dane, it's sensible shoes, two kids and a Volvo.
  21. Well, you would still have a chance, rather than be target practice. However poor your marksman skills.
  22. Is it really a conspiracy that many multinationals will do anything to make a buck. If you look at strip mining in South America, continued trade in aspestos, dumping industrial waste... It seems more like old news.
  23. There is so little Sci Fi and even less which is any good. Man I hope it's good, I really do.
  24. I like the birch trees, but those screens are tarted up for the internet aren't they. The first ones, way from the begining of the thread, they looked pretty lame.
