Ulysses is basically Kurtz from Apocalypse Now. I don't remember if Brando came up with most of that stream of consciousness babble himself or if he was just given bad lines. Doing one last play through with my melee guy. With everything souped up the humble war club turns everything to a fine red mist in a few seconds. Only problem is death claws do so much damage even with my heavy armor it takes just two or three hits, and the feat that protects against KO doesn't seem to work all the time with them.

Who buys a sound card these days. On board devices are good enough, unless you use it professionally. Anyway try the rollback driver option in the device manager. Or you could revert to another system state with system restore. Drivers don't always uninstall like they are supposed to, and sometimes they leave a mess of system files behind. Just for reference, the last time I visited Asus I clicked one button and a list of all Asus hardware on my computer appears along with software updates.

My companions never last very long as I usually play in hardcore mode. They are very good at getting themselves killed.

One thing though. If the gangs can't make money selling drugs anymore are they all going to get real jobs, or start kidnapping or robbing people instead. So, maybe these deaths are derived from the war on drugs, but we aren't really considering the alternative, so what do we compare them to ?

How is Dead Island.

Alienware is awesome, and for the most part horribly ugly. It's like they asked those idiots from American Chopper to design the outside of everything they do.

Saw Tropa de Elite 2 yesterday. It's a Brazilian movie about the deaths squads and gang land in Rio. You get the professor, quoting Focault versus the SWAT or BOPE commander, who eventually are forced to work together. Best Brazilian movie I've ever seen. Not that there have been that many.

I wanted to talk to , but it was simply too tempting not to line up a shot at the back of the head, knowing that it was going to end in violence anyway.

Level 40 and almost done. Benny's 9 mil is making short work of the tunnelers. I need the marksman's carbine for the deathclaws and marked men. My munchkin build in which I took every perk and trait related to reload time, rate of fire, and action points means that I can get in 20-30 shots in VATS with guns with very low AP costs when they close in. Only the criticals do much damage, but there are usually enough of them to take down anything, excepting groups of deathclaws.

Doesn't work on 64 bit machines.

Friend of mine looked for work for almost a year, in the end he found a well paying job but quit soon after to start his own HR consulting business. After all that time he had become something of an expert at interviews.

The game needed a real challenge. Everything has been too easy this far. Nothing wrong with linear if it's done right. Seems like a DLC like this would be the place to do it. It's ok I guess. No complaints so far.
