I remember a recent discussion where we decided that invading Russia, specifically the gas and oil rich regions of the Kaukasus could be a solution. As long as the war didn't last too long, the period of intense mobilisation would help the job maket immesurably. With Gasprom's resources at our disposal the economic recovery would be on the fast track. We should leave in any event if we hadn't reached our objectives by winter. History, bad karma and all that.

I wouldn't mind getting rid of the Syrian leadership, I'm sure neither would the Syrian people. Turkey doesn't have a very strong human rights record though, I'm not sure having them campaign around the middle east is that advisable.

I don't know if it's preferable, but it's much better than quiet seething animosity. There are families who have evolved that into an intricate art form.

It's very actiony. AI cheats. Stealth doesn't work, Floor triggers spawn hordes, etc. Really good atmosphere.

Just go to black mountain if you need money. missile launchers, heavy flamers, bumper swords and whatnot. If you completed Dead Money you won't want for repair kits. The legion assassins are deadly if they get you out in the open. With cover, quite managable. They also seem to give up quick if you attempt to hide.

I can only assume this also means you can't shoot them in the head with guns, in which case , well that would just be incredibly lame. How can you have guns, and zombies, and no headshots. Unpossible.

I seriously doubt second hand smok can do very much out in the open, dilluted. This is why I mentioned car exhaust, since the attentant micro particle pollution is so much worse. There is no escape from that, inside or out. Although you can limit your exposure by staying in on bad days. A smoker produces how many cubic metres of cigarette smoke an hour - and compared to a car. The ratio must be higher than 1-1000, and car exhaust doesn't take decades to kill you, hence the popular suicide method.

If you do get this, get the xbox version though. In the PC version you can't target bodyparts unless the enemy is lying flat on his pack. A huge gameplay minus compared to being able to throw stuff at the head.

Question: how big are the areas? I heard it's open-world 'like' but nothing like TES/modern FO games. I haven't reached any invisible borders yet. I've had too much to do. Probably a little smaller than F03/NW, but more compact as it's one big resort Island. I had to stop playing as the Chinese agent because it bothered me too much that she was running around surviving in stiletto shoes. well that and because I thought she didn't have acess to guns. Turns out they are just very rare and don't show up untill about lv 10. Another annoyance from the coop thing is that the stashes you raid auto renew. Not so much a battle for resources then either. You really wish for a real single player mode rather than an offline mode.

Dead Island. It's my new favorite game. I have been playing for two hours and I haven't even seen a gun. Still, I seem to manage throwing various household implements at the infected. It's a bit wonky because it was meant as online coop. You can't die, or rather, it doesn't matter. You spawn a few seconds later and lose a few dollars as a penalty. Bit of a hit to the survival horror aspect of it, but the rest is good enough to make up for it.

I'd make you a deal. Cigarettes banned in public if you weren't allowed to drive anywhere unless you absolutely needed to. 5 kids to drop off, or part of your job ok. Everything else, get on your bike and stop stinking up the place for the rest of us. Or would that be encroaching on personal freedom. hmm..

I'd worry about exhaust gasses before the odd plume of cigarette smoke. You might not like the smell, but you are asking too much.

I dunno, demanding that people can't smoke outside. That seems a bit much. The argument of the strain on public health care (for those countries that have such a thing) is legitimate enough. Ultimately people should be allowed to poison themselves however they see fit and help pay the cost through heavy taxation.

That does back to FO3. Minigun and ripper loops could just be the raider you ran away from 20 mins ago.

They seemed to do increased damage. Or instant kills. Agreed parry could take out a quarter or more of HP, it was actually one of my favorite skills. Yes, but that works about a third of the time. Mostly you fail the counter, even with perfect timing.

It's hard to spot in type.

Watch out for those sales. You will wind up with a load of crap you will never play and would never have bought otherwise, but it was really really cheap !

Come to think of it mine isn't onboard. it came with the board. Probably on the cheap side but very common. I don't think I have ever bothered updating the drivers for it because it never gave me any hassle.
