Almost a quarter of men 'admit to rape in parts of Asia'
Yes, well obviously taking advantage of someone who is passed out and unable to give consent is rape. How about other drugs though. MDMA removes restraint and defenses and leaves you default in love with the universe and with anything with a pulse. That's why people take it. It's obviously a very vulnerable state as well.

Almost a quarter of men 'admit to rape in parts of Asia'
Does pressuring, nagging or convincing someone into sex constitute rape. Not according to the law I don't think. I mean isn't the woman kinda required to resist or say 'no' for it to be rape. The conditions didn't place any emphasis on this. It might seem irrelevant but when sorting out rape allegations these are the things the police are left with. They can't know what goes on in the heads of the involved. How many wives let their husbands have their way just to shut them up. I mean it ain't pretty, it's kinda gross actually, but it's not necessarily rape either.

How can they solve the massive texture problems?
What's the customary thing with downloadable versions. Do they always include textures for resolutions you can't use ?. Seems wasteful. Save the rainforest and the other people sharing my connection. Just an observation.

Would you hire a guy who..
Yes I would totally fire someone because they were banned from random internet gaming sites.

Xcom
This happens if you are really close to that group but havent sighted them. When still undescovered, enemy units teleport 8 tiles or so in a random direction every turn. So, sometimes they appear right in front of you. Sometimes with action points and sometimes without.

Syrian civil war
So anyone engaged in a strategic alliance is a vassal now. What is Kazakhstan then. How about Georgia. Why is it better to have so much stink on you that no one will ally with you. Paul Wolfowitz is not dictating US forgein policy anymore. As already pointed out the cost is too great and the sense of adventure and willingness to out troops in harms way is entirely gone.

Reply from 1970 Those above soldiers who wouldn't show their faces haven't haD their legs blown off and weren't drafted. Important distinction. I don't see where the moral outrage comes from when nothing has been done yet. If there is any moral outrage, shouldn't it be because so many people have died and nothing has been done ?

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2013/09/02/hardware-shipbreakers-is-now-homeworld-shipbreakers/#comment-1339192 I really hope we get to go up in the air 360 RTS rather than building buildings and racing around with little tanks. Engine looks meh, but I still felt an undeniable small gasp of HW awesome. Wasn't this supposed to be web or tablet only. I hope they scapped that idea.

Syrian civil war
No matter, countries can still intervene in another country if there is human rights abuses without the UN Security Council voting to support it. They won't be breaking international laws, its called the Doctrine of Humanitarian Intervention and I feel its valid in the case of Syria http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humanitarian_intervention It's looks like invasion without declaring of war. Maybe you forget, but WW2 begin from such thing's. The world has kinda moved away from formal declarations of war since WW2. A declaration doesn't quite have the ommph of panzers rolling into Poland, and after all it accomplishes the same thing. Hitler had his bases covered. He burned down his own border posts and scattered corpses in Polish uniforms intending to show them to the world press. No one cared by that point though.

The (hopefully) attractive women thread.
I definitely prefer muscles that look like they came from hard work as opposed to machines, and of course at some point they start to supplant femininity completely. A lot of people who work out don't know when to stop. Getting bigger becomes an obsession. That particular musculus maximus is pretty amazing though.

Syrian civil war
Sarcasm? The Obama admin hasn't stopped bombing. There's been more drones strikes under Obama than Bush. That's going to continue no matter who wins the next election, unless the country actually wakes up and votes in a 3rd party candidate, but that's not happening anytime soon. Drone strikes are basically assassinations. Air campagins to achieve a political goal are something else and have been a favorite tool for the US over the years.

What's wrong with activated abilities?
Just jumping in the middle here to say that I absolutely loathe timed buffs. 3 minuite + to this and that attack/resistance. They are a pain, especially if you are forced to deal with them. Sometimes abilities are structured like timed buffs. This would be a bad thing.

Allan Rickman is more accurately known as Hans Grüber. At least to people who don't have an ounce of interest in children's books.
