At least do me the solid of having your facts straight instead of trying to score internet points by bashing the US. The most recent aircraft carrier, the USS George H.W. Bush (CVN-77) "only" costs 6.2 billion to manufacture. Or about .62% the cost of the TRILLION dollar UHC. We could scrap the entire fleet and still not pay for this. http://www.usgovernmentspending.com/us_defense_spending_30.html So. a trillion is a million million dollars, A billion, which is what the indexed numers are I believe, is 1000 million. There are 6,360.5 of those in the defence budget. What am I missing ?

That and your system, administration, mindset etc is just not geared to a European model.. No matter how much we wanna pimp it It's more about priorities. Manly things like tanks and aircraft carriers will get funded before bums who can't afford to take care of themselves. The money is there.

Why not just take it out of taxes. The NHS is a much better system than ours and they pay less taxes so they must be doing something right. Have an aircraft carrier or three less. It will get you into less trouble as well.

Didn't Uwe Boll get turned down for that. I predict an epic train wreck.

Hero worship is a weird thing. Anywho, the US killed a cataclysmic number of people with their bombing campaigns and all for a lost cause. I think history proved her right in doing whatever she could. Did she get played by the NW also, sure. It took conviction though.

Or is it a contraction of a pronoun and an adveribial.

That's a pretty interesting series, although I'm a bit leery of photographers who take a lot pictures of the 'bottom rung' of society. There is sort of an unspoken exploitation going on. It's not bumfights, but there is a tiny bit of the same vibe to it.

I've often wondered how I would fare if I were forced to do some heroing. Imagine you had to intercede to save a life, putting your own at risk. Would you be up for the challenge.

It's about moving out on your own without the safetynet of your parents, about facing the world alone for the first time and being afraid. even though that happened a long time ago. Memory isn't linear, that's why people keep childhood trauma for life. You're wellcome.

I know this is sacrilledge to a lot of people, but water your whiskey and it won't feel quite so much like detergent going down.

Sargy does that. He's the only one who remembers where these ancient threads are buried.

I like the way they look all serious and you just know they don't believe a word of their own shtick.

I see pundits. You know entertainers as much as political analysts. Typically identifiable by being very angry or very 'scoop' about any particular subject.

Boss is getting married and I'm sortof expected to contribute towards a gift. Thing is I don't like him. Don't want anyone thinking I'm cheap either though. Debated sending a transvestite stripper to his bachelor party but we decided against it.

I blame society for hypersexualising breasts. I mean no one cares if a guy bares his chest. There is no logical reason why it should be taboo.- 526 replies

I miss archers. The javelin guys can throw a mile perhaps to compensate. There are only siege engines during (duh) sieges. Fine on the face of it, but I miss them. Units move too fast making a coherent strategy difficult unless you are defending and can set them all to guard. You can pause and give orders, but it's a chore if you have to do it all the time. It also looks like crap on my computer. I would'nt advise trying to play it without a newish CPU and GFX. They say it scales well on old computers but that's pretty far from the truth.

Copy that, gold leader. I am in position your left flank, will provide cover, start your approach. Dangerous territory that. I don't see how one could not stare. I mean sooner or later you simply wouldn't be able to help yourself. You would be completely 'deer in headlights' over those.- 526 replies

Either you can or you can't. It wont make any difference if you wait. It is possible to lose system files that were in use during the hard shutdown, but windows is supposed to fix that on reboot.

Actually his name was 'Knud' or something along those lines. Silly English couldn't pronounce it. Land grabber by conquest, forced eviction and blackmail. exceedingly bloody warlord, but ultimately he was cursed with stupid sons who squandered his gains after he died.
