What was the controversy.

Define 'a good chance'. 15 year old school kid, not doing anything illegal at the time that we know of. A melee breaks out for whatever reason. Those things end in death a lot less often than than gunshots. We have Zimmerman's word that he was about to get beaten to death. Rather convenient. This was not a home invasion. What likely happened was that he lost his cool and it ended with a killing because he had a weapon he had to use for fear that it would be wrestled from him. Again, no evidence that Zimmerman was even in the right or who started it.

And of course it would be sacriledge to suggest that the better outcome would have been for Martin not to have had a gun.

A phone call can be a nuisance, a text you can see right away so you know what it's about. That makes it a good way to introduce yourself. I wouldn't hesitate to say texting is more polite.

It was barely 26 yesterday and I had a blower on max setting pointed directly at my face just to get some work done. We don't have air conditioning. It's only hot 14 days a year, so noone bothers.

Was sticky hot yesterday. Now on my days off it's cloudy. Naturally of course.

You call them back not bothering to dial your answering machine. Who uses those anymore. If they want something important they will text you.

I'm not sure I see a connection between the prank call and the death. Who would kill themselves over a bunch of waste of space royals.

They were part of Hitler's Atlantic Wall. The fortifications in copenhagen are much older than that. There were plans to remove them but I guess people had gotten used to them, so now they're protected.

The military stepped in and threw out the elected muslim brotherhood president, who by the way was also getting busy displacing if not eliminating his political enemies. Is that about right. Maybe a military crackdown can pave the way for more conventional campaigning. Seems like a lot of people are anxious to exploit a state of unrest. Not saying that's what will happen.

It's a bit of a stretch calling this obstruction. What exactly are the rules on the police demanding use of your property for a potentially lengthy surveliance.

As long as durability bonuses and penalties are small and there is a large middle state where the weapons are functional so you don't have to worry about condition for a long time I don't care. Fallout 3 and FONW would be a really bad model to follow. Those games were partly about scrounging around for parts to increase survivability. While we are at it you should also be able to break your weapon on a critical miss (very rare) I think that would help move item durability from a nuissance to an accepted representation of what heavy usage of a single weapon would entail.

I'm diggin it. It looks Disneyesque but without all the attendant suckage.

Evil Dead 2 is Evil Dead 1 made with more money. The remake suffers from a bad lack of Bruce Cambel, but I guess you don't get to reboot your own movie.

There is a long history of rolling back individual rights in response to percieved threats. The problem of course is when or how it ever gets decided that the threat is over.
