  1. Well, there is that one big radius grenade ability that does corrode damage as a bonus. But in general I don't think AOE abilities is something rogues should have - they're single target eliminators. Btw, dot damage is still not fixed from the beta times - it still breaks invisibility: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/97738-invisibility-pestilance-cloud-bugged/?hl=%2Bdamage+%2Binvisibility
  2. If it helps, I have him as anti-Leaden Key and he's doing the same buggy ****.
  3. It doesn't always work. If they hate whom you chose too much they'll still leave and send you a farewell message.
  4. Wait for POE3 and a new retcon where Engwithans created the souls, and POE4 where Engwithans created Eora
  5. Yes, I've seen your PM. Here's a pre-endgame save file and achievements file with all achievements except for Principi one (it's bugged apparently): https://drive.google.com/open?id=1RCS6jnIKMp0H98FQ61hhplBueqbsOulf You probably won't unlock them at Steam though and I think for Berath's Blessings to appear for new game you may need to complete the game once, but I may be wrong.
  6. There are two women arguing outside of his manor, they give the quest to steal some tablet.
  7. It's a chain of quests starting with you burgling Arkemyr's Manor.
  8. I've completed the whole chain of Principi quests two times by siding with Aeldys and Furrante but the achievement still doesn't unlock. Here's a save file at Ukaizo: https://drive.google.com/open?id=18VPjnw_YjE2T02J-442al8cTGsLjpXv1
  9. You know, discussing fallacies of BW romances can be endless but mods will likely close the thread for off topic. Let's stick to POE2's.
  10. It's all because of lack of any serious competition.
  11. And that's the one and only romance dialogue I've seen from him until the end of the game, so congrats.
  12. Personally, I hate approval systems, they're too cold and calculated for my tastes. BG2's companions relied on your general reputation to decide whether to stay or leave you and there were very rare cases of them leaving if you were a total **** to them in some dialogues. Too many to count. It's actually easier to count the few that I liked - Morrigan, Solas, Cassandra, Ashley.
  13. Did you play with a multiclass rogue? If so, do you think it as worthy losing the high level abilities? No, I played as a pure rogue assassin. It was great And high level abilities turned out to be very good, especially for assassin who needs invisibility to hit really big. Sneak attack also scales with power level so I got to 75% at level 20. I'm not sure I will want to dilute all that with any multiclass now. Good to know. I'm almost decided now. Assassin/Evoker. But based on your comment, I have more thinking to do... Well, if you go with rogue all the way, go with Assassin. It's da thing
  14. I like Viconia's romance. Also, what about Jaheira's complex one? Oh god Jaheria. I blocked that from my mind because just no to her immediately hitting on my character before her husband's body was cold. Nope. Well, to each his own, I guess Still, the way they were written is still far superior and far less cringy than most of the more recent BW games romances.
  15. I like Viconia's romance. Also, what about Jaheira's complex one?
  16. You forgot BG2. Funny, it was one of their first games but BG2 had the best romances. It's sad but true I think unlike BioWare, romances certainly weren't a main selling feature for Obsidian in POE2, therefore not many resources were poured into it. Just be glad they caved and there are any.
  17. I think people need to chill and wait for a "horny companions" bug to be fixed. So far it seems all of them except for Aloth, who's bugged in another way, suffer from this.
  18. On Classic. I suppose you'll have to micro him even more to keep him alive on POTD, but that won't affect the damage output. Yes it will, +15 to all enemy defenses will reduce the number of hits and crits significantly. Well, to be fair all classes will have a harder time penetrating extra defenses. And rogues are far from the bottom of the list of dealing with that considering what abilities they now have. But from what I've heard POTD right now is too easy and its balancing is somewhere in the future plans. So unless you're playing solo without any synergies with the party, I don't think playing as rogue on POTD will be much worse, but you're sure welcome to try it out for science! All rogue needs is a cannon fodder as a distraction, so if I were to play him on POTD I'd get summoning figurines and trinkets asap, there are plenty of those in POE2, some are very powerful.
  19. Good thing I didn't have any high hopes for romances this time, so I'm not as disappointed as some fans around here. I'm still waiting for a game that'd be of the same level of quality when it comes to romances as BG2 was. POE2 sure looks as a successor, but is actually way shorter than BG2 (completed POE2 completely in 30 something hours), so long winded romances with tons of dialogues maybe would have been too much, however what we have here is just bare bones riddled with bugs.
  20. This all just confirms that the Wheel was there before Engwithans. Yes. Also, now that I think about it didn't the pale elves in Twin Elms claim that they were reborn into the same tribe ever since they settled in the White that Wends? But pale elves came to that region 12 thousand years ago, long before the creation of the gods and (according to the second game) of the reincarnation system itself. But I might be misremembering that conersation with their leader. Exactly, I pointed that out too earlier. I think we'll just have to swallow this poorly explained retcon, I don't see a way to tie so many loose ends.
  21. Yea, it was weird in POE2, everybody was impotent to do anything about Eothas - the Watcher, the gods, the factions. The gods at least were much more potent and willing to meddle in the past. Dunno why they suddenly decided to sit this one out, especially considering their whole existence was on the line.
  22. Btw, her previous owner is in Dunnage, if you can't find her.
