  1. @ Fighter: wow, me likey Who?
  2. Today I forced myself to eat vegetables and fruits. Really, I'm always preaching how important a healthy diet is yet my own diet sucks so hard I'm wondering every day why I'm still not suffering from severe scurvy.
  3. Man, I envy you! Have fun! What I did today: shoulder and triceps day! Heavy military presses, in the end I was pressing 72 kilograms 6 reps slowly and with perfect form with no support of any kind, just the barbell and I. I love this exercise more than any other, it just feels so great.
  4. The last 20 vertical meters to the peak were insane so I decided it wasn't worth risking my life for it, I already was at 3000 meters above sea level and so close to the peak that I stopped and called it a day. Don't get me wrong, I was risking my life the entire time, its high alpine climbing after all, one misstep or one slip and you're falling a couple thousand meters before hitting the ground like a meteor. (I never use rope or anchors.) But the last couple of meters involved climbing an extremely narrow almost vertical wall of lose frozen rocks during 100+ km/h wind, it was a nightmare. I have no problems with taking risks but a good mountaineer knows when to stop and turn around. Those who don't usually end up in the newspapers, and you wouldn't believe how many climbers die every year in the mountains, mountains I have climbed. Once I had to turn around because I didn't want to cross an insanely dangerous snowfield to reach a summit, it wasn't worth the risk. Imagine a patch of snow, 10 meters wide, 50 meters long, about 40 degrees steep and so sloped to the left side so you could barely stand on it, at the end of the side slope a free fall of 1000 meters awaited you. And now imagine the snow being wet and melting from the sun. 5 days later I read in the news that a couple of climbers slipped and died right there.
  5. Today I saw one of my favorite road cars. The Lotus Exige Sport edition. It made all the other cars around it look like ugly, clunky and antiquated bricks with wheels.
  6. Been camping & climbing around in the mountains... The peak at 11 o' clock was my goal. Reaching the peak, at 3050 meters / 10k ft above sea level. Boy was it windy and cold up there. Some kind of cool lichen Gentian A Woldan in his natural habitat.
  7. Shaowing ahnd fleksin' mahw byzebs. *grunts*
  8. Those events are very cool, get dirty and have fun! Also, I'll be gone for a couple of days because I'm going mountain climbing and camping at approx 3600 meters on our highest mountain, the Grossglockner, to test some of my new gear and to shoot some cool photos.
  9. A Robin Williams who plays computer games is certainly cooler than a Robin Williams who does not.
  10. And PnP RPGs. I had no idea, thats very cool.
  11. Robin liked and played computer games?
  12. Well yes, compared to you any woman is a manly man.
  13. The difference between garden-grown fruits and the stuff you buy in the grocery store is shocking. My tomatoes have a ten times more intensive taste than those in stores, but they're only 1/2 their size. They must have been modified in way that they contain much more water so they appear bigger, mine are much smaller but ''denser'', they're harder and have more meat, also the the fruit skin on mine is much thicker. And there is the color difference, my tomatoes are more orange than red when ripe, those in the store are red like strawberries. And not to mention there is zero contamination from insecticides. I'm using an original breed by the way, they're not impotent (they grow usable seeds) and aren't modified in any way. @KP I'm currently growing habeneros but the still too cold climate here is tough on them, they grow reeeally slowly. I'm also trying to grow some water melons, but no success yet. They do grow but I never get them too grow fruits.
  14. Today I went in my garden and harvested some vegetables and fruits for supper. And I have tons more of these growing in my garden.
  15. Awkward panorama photo fails.
  16. Science. Salvation through technological advancement.
  17. Still the best looking woman I've ever seen.
  18. NO U! Really, the salt has worked so well that no further treatment is required, it worked like magic. It literally burned away all the bacteria and festering flesh, now all thats left is a clean, dry red spot that is getting better quickly. And happy womb departure day to Malcador and Sarex.
  19. I have to get this game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Twp0RuPFzP0
  20. Anyway, had a badly infected wound on my palm, the size of a € 2 coin, didn't stop oozing and bleeding, wanted to go to the doc. Rubbed salt into it, the pain was far worse than expected but it worked like a damn miracle. Pain gone, infection gone, wound is dry, no need to see a doc. Bad infection cured in 10 minutes.
  21. If being an untermensch means being highly reistant to other peoples first hand experiences then I applaud to your self-discovery.
  22. ^ I'll take the 4th from left to right. With extra mayo.
  23. If you have never touched any weights and you are interested in extending your knowledge about resistance training beyond hearsay and the opinion of the masses get this book, it should cover all your questions, how it works, what it does. Highly recommendable book.
  24. Bruce Lee died from a cerebral edema which he developed from an allergic reaction to painkillers. I've been lifting, cycling, swimming and climbing mountains for ten years, also most of my best friends are active performance-oriented athletes including one rehabilitation physician, a personal trainer and a strongman. He was doing ''Good-Mornings'' with very heavy weights, a controversial exercise very few people recommend. Personally I've done them twice and never did them again. They hurt and pain is never good. Bruce mentioned that it was this exercise that injured his back and I agree. You CAN and WILL ruin yourself if you don't lift properly. You also can and will ruin yourself with any other sports if you screw up. Also if you ''pump iron right before a shoot'' you wont magically resemble a blow-up doll.... I'm sure he had other reasons to do weights than to look good in front of the camera, for example to prevent injuries when doing stunts which is pretty freaking damn important for someone like him. ''Good-mornings'', an exercise I do NOT recommend: BTW, I'm growing tired of this discussion, talking with completely unexperienced people about weight lifting is very tiring and it could drag on for many many more pages.
