  1. Just like that; you didn't notice that it was about to die a day before?
  2. Battery? Lambda sensor?
  3. Wanted to change the tires of my moms car, but sent her to a professional garage instead. When I tried to change the front tires I couldn't spin them even though the gearbox was on neutral, I think the brake discs are bent/warped. But there is more, there is also something wrong with the right rear suspension, when I looked at the tire I noticed that the inside was completely gone. One third of the tire looked like a racing slick which is a sign of excessive camber. Since the ride height and the spring seem to be ok I guess the wishbone is kind of bent which is bad. What the hell is she doing with her car?
  4. Oh, the awesome feeling when you design something for countless of hours and then you accidentally overwrite it with the press of a button. Must. Keep. Breathing..... RAAAAAAARGH.......!
  5. Reminds me of the ''Big Head'' mode in Unreal Tournament way back in 99'. The more kills you had the bigger your head got and the easier it was to hit you. Good times.
  6. Got a bruise and popped a few surface vessels between my shoulders from bench pressing heavy - I think my bench is too hard. My back looks like it has been beaten with a lash. I also did 120kg 2 reps on the decline bench, but with a 60kg dumbbell in each hand which is tons harder than with a well stabilized barbell. And it was surprisingly easy, I think I could go 10-15kg heavier but I don't want to risk an injury. No girls around to impress anyway.
  7. Your mother doesn't count. If you think about it, that's actually a terribly sad story. I love the romance-drama genre.
  8. You can bet your almighty behind on that. Also for posting that awesome description without any pics you should be sentenced to swim in a pool of biomedical waste while listening to Justin Bieber songs for half a day. *Sigh*- Anyway:

  10. Biggest moving object on land. Anyway, more impressive machines! Liebherr LR13000 crawler crane lifting smaller cranes that lift smaller cranes that lift.... One of the largest Draglines ever built: It was so big that the tip of the long boom swung with 200 kmh / 125 mph when the machine turned. Also 14.000 tons heavy, in its service life it moved 465,000,000 m3 of overburden, the buckets bite was 300 tons of material and weighed 250 tons itself.
  11. Took advantage of the hot 32c° summer whether and cut my lawn and borders of my property with my scythe, shirtless, to get some tan on my white-ish upper body. Had a nice chat with some neighbor-farmers stopping by with their tractors, they were amazed by my skills with the scythe and gave me thumbs up for doing it the old fashioned way. Also I found out that after the tenth horse fly bite I don't feel pain from any further bites and at that point my body doesn't produce any swellings aroudn the wounds anymore. You can get used to insect bites.
  12. Marion 6360 ''The captain'' Weight 15.000 tons Height 65 meters For decades it was the biggest moving object made by man.
  13. If I can perform complex tasks when I sleepwalk and do strange stuff, what if I strangle or stab somebody?
  14. If it turns out to be like Beyond Thunderdome in any way necks will be snapped.
  15. Are you sure? Yes. My cat can't do that anymore and he also can't close doors.
  16. I think I'm starting to lose my mind. Before I took a nap I looked where my cat was, he was sleeping on the couch. I closed the door the living room and went to bed for two hours or so. When I woke up I wanted to see for my cat again and he was gone! I couldn't find him anywhere, I looked under the couch, behind the desks and cupboards. Nothing. Vanished. After half an hour of fruitless searching I found him in another room, sleeping like nothing ever happened. Last time I checked he couldn't open doors and close them behind him so somebody must have done that. Before I went to bed I closed the door to the living room and after the nap the door was still closed. Like, really closed. He couldn't have jumped up and slipped past me when I closed the door, thats way too fast for any cat/animal, let alone a slow and sleeping 21 year old cat. And I would have noticed it anyway. So WTF happened? I blame it on the current buggy version of the Matrix. We need an update here, dammit!
  17. The Summit. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2363471/?ref_=fn_al_tt_4 Its a documentary about the disastrous climb of the K2 (8000-something meters, more dangerous than the Everest) in 2008 where several people died and more where injured because, well, tons of stuff went wrong. I'm a passionate mountain climber myself but I do not understand those people, its practically hell up there and I'm sure I wouldn't continue climbing and enjoy the summit when people I know were left behind dieing. Those were total psychopaths and many had it coming. So many false decisions, so much confusion. 6000 meters is my absolute limit.
  18. No. OP question answered, no need for further discussions that lead to nowhere good.
  19. A little bit flashy and too fast, but its not nearly as horrible as expected.
