I've read translated texts from a roman era retiring soldier and people where confronted with exactly the same problems with have nowadays. 2000 years of technological advancement later and the core problems of humanity remain completely unchanged and unsolved.

I'm probably just stupid. But I enjoy it immensely. I'm not afraid of falling and tearing the flesh off my bones, the faster you go with a bike the more stabilized your ride gets, the wheels act like a pair of gyroscopes. What I'm afraid of is stupid people and traffic situations where its too late to brake, I'd rearend a car or I'd crash into a tree line because instead of guard rails there are trees on either side of the road. Either way I'd be turned into a deformed pile of meat, and motorcycle gear wouldn't help.

Cleaned my bicycle, tightened all the bolts, re-calibrated the brakes, removed the old crusty oil from the drivetrain and applied super expensive gearbox lubrication, also lubed the axle ball-bearings. Its unreal how much the performance of my bike has increased through that little service, from now on I'll drastically shorten the service intervals. Took it for a quick shakedown, which then became a long tour. Only a handful of things are better than riding a fast and freshly serviced racing bicycle through the countryside on a hot summer day, on fast 100kmh+ downhill sections with some obligatory leg killing 25% climbs thrown in. The humming sound of fast spinning tires, feeling the air flow, the hammering heart, the overwhelming feel of freedom, the beautiful landscapes, feeling the blood flowing through my veins and the sun on my back. Proper cycling is almost a spiritual experience.

Thats one cool opinion you've got there, but I don't agree.

No you're not. You have not visited Land-of-Woldan if you haven't climbed at least one 3500m+ mountain.

Test screening opinion: (Attention : One part of the review does contain spoilers from the first third of the movie.) http://thisisinfamous.com/mad-max-fury-road-early-review/ All in all it sounds very positive to me, also, Theron seems to be absolutely badass in this movie, with a good amount of screen time.

If I was allergic to something, I'd it eat to spite it. Oh wait, I already do! Depends on what kind of allergy. If you get a rush and itchy skin, who cares, but if its one of those allergies where you get an Anaphylactic shock and freaking die from choking to death, that kind of sh!t should be avoided. Meh.

Today I seriously thought I was going to die, like in drop dead and never move again. A co-worker gave me tasty pastry but after the fourth or so bite I noticed a strange, long-forgotten taste. Sh!t. Walnuts!!! When I was a kid I once almost died from eating a single walnut and was rushed into hospital because I was almost choking and got live threatening allergic edemas, so bad was my allergic shock. Since that day I never ate anything containing walnuts again. I already got the phone to call the ambulance but....nothing really happened. Waited for an hour and I was still perfectly fine, except being drenched in cold sweat of course. Guess I'm not allergic to walnuts anymore. Phew....

IMO the human body is already a great machine, I think scientists should focus more on methods to strengthen bones, joints and artificial muscles which are ten times stronger than human ones. We're already equipped with a pretty good battery. Update what you have before going with completely new stuff.

Interestingly, hard weight lifting for 70-80 minutes does nothing to make me sleep better, in fact I need to wait 3-4 hours before going to sleep after lifting. Its very exhausting, but instead of cardio which acts like a downer lifting is definitely an upper, feels a bit like I'm on speed afterwards no matter how exhausting it was. And its not just me, many people feel the same. Feel tired, depressed and down? Lift heavy. Feel restless and want to sleep? Do cardio. Heck, if I was a psychiatrist I'd recommend those two things before going with any hardcore medications.

Unless your insomnia is caused by an illness or chronic pain I can recommend the following: exposure to fresh air and nature, go for a long walk in the woods -no matter how tired you feel right now- and try to sleep right after your little hike. It works wonders. I periodically get severe insomnia as side effect from my depressions, what helps is really exhausting cardio. I can have the worst insomnia in the world, after 2 hours of climbing steep hills (160-180bpm) with my bike I can do nothing else but collapse in my bed and sleep for a couple of hours. And its an healthy way to combat sleeplessness. What also causes insomnia is subtle but chronic dehydration. Drink enough water, skip sugar altogether and NO caffeine. Once I have not slept in 4 days straight, so I know what you are going through. Hang in there!

Daewoo has designed an exoskeleton which can lift 65lbs and is equipped with a power unit that lasts for 3 hours They plan to build a more powerful unit with an increased load capacity of up to 220lbs/100kg. Which is still very disappointing, I'm a squishy human and I'm still way stronger than their current model. I'd also be way stronger than their updated model. Lifting 220lbs/100kg is nothing for anyone who does some weight lifting in their spare time.

Here is why in-game purchases = a disgrace to humanity
Woldan replied to ktchong's topic in Computer and Console
This game takes advantage of the stupid people. Its like virtual Darwinism, the stupid people can't resist and spend all their real money on non-physical things like that and go broke in the process which then dramatically decreases the chances of reproduction. I already love this game. She has one facial expression and all her internal organs including her brain are in her butt, explaining its freaking size compared to the rest of the body. And this is very creepy.- 21 replies

Unplug it and then polish the contacts with steel wool + WD40.
