  1. These here are some nice strategies, thanks guys. I will try to put it in use. Been trying to deal with Alpine Dragon on easy, but still he beats the crap out of me, how lame.
  2. Haven't seen this bug in 2.02 beta patch notes... is this still WIP?
  3. My mechanic score is currently on level 9 and I stumbled upon a hidden stash without sneaking.
  4. Hey, one thing that I'm confused a bit. When I journeyed to Stalwart for the first time, there was this popup message saying my party is quite high level for the WM content and I am to choose between playing it with or without scaling the difficulty. These options were as follows: HIGH LEVEL and STANDARD Which one is for playing with difficulty scaling and which one isn't? As "high level" means you will be a high level compared to the content and there is no difficulty scaling? Or "high level" means the content will also be on a high level as my party. Why this is so ambiguous? Because I picked 'standard' and I'm having some rough time - it ain't easy.
  5. Freed Giacco. Killed Raedric. Giacco now can be found in a devastated house in Magran's Fork. The way he talks suggests that he is supposed to be there - that's right?
  6. Is it a bug, or just a small map? Some area maps are squeezed as shown on attached screenshot. save https://www.dropbox.com/s/ybth4rhra6zt5eb/7a1b4c66-2a70-4278-9704-bbcf996bd09c%20quicksave.savegame?dl=0 output.log https://www.dropbox.com/s/5c2oouia9b886nl/output_log.txt?dl=0
  7. What do you mean by *had to* install? You got a popup message from the WM installer, that it will not run or something similar? Before I got myself the expansion I already had all of the previous patches and hotfixes, but that was before WM showed up. Now there are two patches, and no instructions to them whatsoever. EDIT: This just in: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/81755-gog-two-201-patches-which-to-use/ OK, now everythin is clear.
  8. Hey! I'm on GOG and have a 2.01 patch (77 MB) and White March 2.01 patch (175 MB) - what should I install? Both? Just the latter, since I have the expansion? Halp, plx.

  10. Sure, I will just have to get back from work so stay tuned.
  11. Hello, I assigned Aloth for an avarage adventure. Now I see that although he is assigned, I can click "assign" again. Screenshot in attachment.
  12. This is not a bug, just didn't know where to put it. I will explain this issue using the text from a in-game book called "The Moons of Eora": "315 years ago, the Grand Empire of Vailia suffered from terrible storms and terrifyingly high and low tides." Full text here: http://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/The_Moons_of_Eora According to the eoran timeline (http://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Timeline) Old Vailia suffered from a Lover's Tide in 2508 AI. 2508 + 315 = 2823 2823 AI is the year when the game starts. What doest that mean? It either means that the book was written (no printing press in Eora) in the exact same year as the game starts and its author had little respectability to anyone reading it in future years OR it means that a certain game developer did that by mistake. It would make more sense if this book book had a sentence looking like this: "In the Year of Iroccio 2508, the Grand Empire of Vailia suffered from terrible storms and terrifyingly high and low tides." so anyone reading this book in future eoran years wouldn't had a headache trying to calculate when did that really hapenned. PS. The book text also reads: "315 years ago, the Grand Empire of Vailia suffered from terrible storms and terrifyingly high and low tides. Records show the same thing was happening in the Aedyr Empire and that several new Aedyran colonies along the Dyrwood coast were completely destroyed by storms and high tides that engulfed the settlements." The Eastern Reach was discovered in 2602, almost 100 years later, ffs! There are some other cases of such time slights in this game. Am I being too cavil? Oh, bother.
  13. Everything's fine ;] My least favourite change is this new intro with Obsidian logo. Previous was simpler and better. So yeah, first world problems all over again.
  14. Journal entry for stoping the machine: "I turned the machine atop Teir Nowneth off, which means that the souls in Heritage Hill can be returned to the cycle." Journal entry for destroying the machine: "To prevent the machine from ever being used again, I sacrificed the trapped souls of Heritage Hill to destroy the machine." There is of course the third possibility, but enough spoilers
  15. And here I thought that your party's gonna end up in the lowest parts of the Durgan's Battery with some impossible-to-open huge door that will only be accessible to the player after part 2 is installed. Phew
  16. As a matter of fact YES, and I totally forgot about it. Thanks. Thank you for a quick reply, but as AndreaColombo said the fault was on my side.
  17. Hi This hat should give +2 resolove and -1 intellect What it really does is only -1 intellect
  18. Strange... I was pretty sure that destroying the machine destroys the souls. That they return to the cycle only when stopping the machine. You sure, mate?
  19. I play a rogue. Compared to both the original and custom companions he is amazing. Maybe you picked some less benefiting talents?
  20. Torment: Tides of Numenera is not, I repeat, IS NOT Torment 2.
