I have physical qualities to wear multiple rings on every finger. Still ridiculous.

It's not about whether she is able/unable to use it. It's about how ridiculous it looks from an aesthetic pov.

Yeah, well, as long as that sword can be replaced with something less ridiculous, said character may not end up on my ignore list.

Whatever the reason, this just looks terrible. And they didn't rename them after conquest because...?

General Kenobi. Amiri, seriously, what in the Nine Hells is this crappy looking thing you are wielding? Because if that's a sword, then I'm dumping you and your weapon the minute I see you. Wannabe anime features are worse than karate-kid-monks in fantasy settings. Harrim, take notes Obsidian, because you suck at dwarven companions, and this one seem pretty decent. Ait, now about the game and setting itself. If I understand correctly PATHFINDER is a copycat of the D&D (some call it 3.75 ed). Same alignment system, same core races, same other races (drow and duergar ffs), similar relations between material plane and cosmology... even Darklands are basically Underdark with a different name. I'm not totally rejected by this, because these similarities make me feel kinda "at home" but with different details. Also I'm a sucker for cliche human/elven/dwarven/halfling/orc/goblin tropes in fantasy, guilty as charged. What bugs me is some of the worldbuilding. There are some questionable ideas implemented and I don't dig some of the crazy names Paizo came up with. Most of my knowledge comes from the http://pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Pathfinder_Wiki. Here are a few examples: Golarion - name of the world/planet the setting takes place. This is quite a long name, that doesn't fit the world, because it is tricky to pronounce. Eora, Arda, Toril (short for Abeir-Toril), these are much more catchy. Taldor - name of a country, but as far as I know this is a dwarven personal name from Forgotten Realms Absalom - the biggest city in the world, but this is a personal name from the Bible Cheliax - name of a country, but sounds like some fiend from other plane of existence (OK, this one is more of a personal quirk) General lack of naming consistency - Take a look at the Inner Sea map, or the entire world map. Let's stick to the Cheliax for a little bit longer: there are settlemetnts like Westcrown (English vibes), Pezzack (Arabian vibes), Corentyn (Irish vibes), Brastelwark (German vibes), Ostenso (Italian vibes), Egorian (no vibes whatsoever). What culture is in Cheliax? Because I sure don't have a clue. Numeria - a land where technology is on the sci-fi level, but why? Why robots and lasers in a medieval fantasy setting? I do want to try this game out, but am being mistrustful a bit.

NPC interaction, also Wishlist
Messier-31 replied to eeku grimsmile's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)The premise is really nice, but the perspective of engaging in converastion with every single commoner ruins it.

[WM2] Zahua quest (spoiler)
Heya, This never happened before but Zahua is not starting the quest. I'm already in the second part of the WM. EDIT: Solved. I had to get through all of his dialogue over again, despite them being greyed out. New conversation options kicked in.

The Crucible Knights won't give me quests
That can't be the full story - before that you must have completed another quest for them. Precisely: Osric's family breastplate quest involving Penhelm and Kurren. I did point out in my previous post which quest must be given to the player ("The bronze beneath the lake"). Since there was no denying from the OP I assume he knows that already.

Expansion Hopes: Sequential, not Parallel (for the Most Part)
Messier-31 replied to PrimeHydra's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)There actually is a reason to go there tied to the main plot: the Steward mentions having heard disturbing reports of the Leaden Key's movements in the area, suggesting that they have an interest in the ruins as they have in others throughout the game. In that sense, the Watcher's trip to Stalwart isn't much different from their trip to Dyrford, with both being little more than transit points en route to the far more interesting ruins that are nearby, even if the lead you get to head over to Clîaban Rilag is significantly more compelling given its source and Lady Webb's interest. The main problem that I see is that the Leaden Key angle potentially ceases to work as a motivator once you learn that their known agents in the area are already dead, though you could argue that the Watcher might remain interested in investigating the ruins that drew them there. True dat. The Leaden Key in the White March are kinda McGuffin.

Aloth, you magnificent son of a whore!
The LLENGRATH encounter. You know, the second Archmage and her two bog dragons: TURISULFUS and GAFONERCOS So in my first playthrough there was a fight, and with the archmage down, my party almost wiped, when all hope seemed lost, there was still HIRAVIAS standing vs two worn bog dragons. A little bennyhilling was the least I could do at the moment, the cold feel of death/reload on my back. But Lady Luck (praise Tymora) was on my side that very moment, because running away and throwing firebugs weakened the wyrms enough for my last resort: spiritshift into stealgear. Slice n dice, dragons defeated.

The Crucible Knights won't give me quests
If you accepted to do the quest "Bronze beneath the lake" then you're fixed with the Dozens. Finishing it doesn't matter. Sorry, mate. EDIT: And for the record, the other quests that fix you with a faction are as follows: "The changing of the guard" for House Doemenel "Winds of steel" for the Crucible Knights

Well, it's pretty bvious who the villain of PoE 2 will be (spoilers naturally)
Reading all those guesses now in 2017 makes me chuckle so. I considered the Waidwen/Eothas comeback from the start. Him disappearing was just too much of a trope to leave it unanswered.
