I know youre trying to be facetious but I kinda agree with that. I never saw the point of hunting down some 85 year old man who was only following orders (See: the Enola Gay example). I wonder where the line was drawn, killing 10 jews? 100? 1000? Its probably very easy to find some US soldier that wiped out dozens of enemy or a sub commander that sent 500 souls to Davey Jones locker. Guess it sucks being on the losing side.

I wonder how well this will sell. After the tens of you who want the same exact game, except "as it should have been", blow your wads how many others will actually pay for it after such a short time of FO3's release. I would have loved to been a fly on the wall during that meeting; "Check it out, how about WE do Fallout too?" "Huh? It was just done a year ago." "Yeah, but this time we'll do it "right" to cater to a ridiculously small demographic." "SOLD!!!"

Awww. Hey, I noticed in the other thread you mentioned Pump-It-Up. My daughter's ninth birthday is coming in June and shes pimping hard to go there. Roughly, what did that set you back?

I know, I know. They just look like such crap imo. Like one level above all text. Im not even a graphics whore and looking at screen caps of the FO's make me want to spork my eyes out.

Im not disappointed in the least and Im happy everyone else is happy. Im more curious as to why, and whether or not its just nostalgia.

Hardly that simple. Just that those people who love the Fallout series want to see those traits they loved brought into the next incarnation of the game, however Fallout 3 was lacking in some of those aspects. I still very much liked Fallout 3, but it doesn't follow the theme of Fallout and Fallout 2 very well. I feel they can keep a lot of what Fallout 3 is, but add some depth to the game. Something a bit more substantial to it. Would you consider that "doable" as it probably wont be turn based? Isnt that where a lot of the charm came from wrt FO1 and FO2? I dunno, I havnt played any of them.

Then, despite the gross similarities and how accurate the reversion is, people won't be blinded by their nostalgia and will critique the game for still not being a good enough carbon copy of the first two games. Lol, I was going to bring up how nostalgia would never stand the withering light of the actual product but it doesnt seem to matter.

All of these suggestions just sound like FO2 reskinned for 2010. Is that what the majority of you want? Im genuinely curious here. A new FO on the heels of a version less then 1 year old and all anyone wants is to revert back to "the good ole days?

Personally, I was more extited about the possibilitu of a new IP and not a different spin on the same stuff released less then a year ago and still receiving DLC. Im sure it will be "much different" and exactly what FO3 was "supposed to be".

The NAV warning went away, dunno what changed. Made level five by going 1 for 3 today and picked up a new ability, "Pugnacious", which allows a free action return hit every time Im hit by an opponent.

Thats Mus? Huh, I thought I could detect some breasts in that picture. Weird. Anywho, day 10 of my quitting smoking and all's well. I think even the habitual part of smoking is behind me now. It was strange getting over it, almost like losing an old friend. For the first couple days I would still look around for them whenever or feel like I was forgetting something but even things like that are passing and I rarely even think about them any more.

I dont know how Fear used to be but as for Polymorph, that sounds like an upgrade. It used to break on any damaging action against the target. I was even kinda jealous of the Shaman (or whoever that is that can turn a target into a frog) as the frog would take a few hits before the poly broke. Polymorph has really become a dead art, nobody askes me to poly anymore since you can just pretty much beat everything to death with a DK.
