Heh, like a lot of things I sometimes lose sight of the "little" things while looking at the "bigger" picture. Several years ago the people of California voted similarly and were consequently overridden by the courts. That irritates me to no end. I dont have a horse in this race, I was far more interested in how they were going to spin overriding the actual State Constitution if it would have come to that.

The CD player on my PC crapped out months ago and, for me, an external CD drive has been fine. I use it when I need it and put it away for the other 99% of the time. Granted, I almost never need to use my CD drive and Im on a desktop while your on a laptop so you may have a much higher usage and/or not want to hump around an additional component. If you can get a new, better, laptop for $400.00 then Id go for that. Whats the monetary difference between that and just a drive? A few hundred dollars? And you will get a performance increase and a several years worth of use.

Ive been playing WoW for almost as long as its been out and I still love it. I play whenever I can fit it around my family and that works out beautifully for me. Im not really there for the social aspect although I know lots of other players, I just like logging on for a few hours here and there and laying waste to stuff. The $15 a month isnt even a blip on my radar.

I had a fun weekend. Went to a party downtown on Saturday in a really fancy condo that was literally right across the street from the Field Museum and Soldier Field. Sunday we went to a keg party a buddy of mine throws every year. Lets just say Mrs. Gfted1 had to pilot the ship home that night. Yesterday I slept until around 2pm. Ahh, good times.

Well, IMO, they went after him with the dogs (lulz) and threw the book at him. The punishment does not fit the crime here. You can go bash someones face in with a pipe and you wont get two years in the pen + ridiculous fine to show the ASPCA just how sorry you are + home confinement? Come on. I also think he'll play again. There are plenty of teams that will instantly become better at QB the minute he steps on their practice field. Whipping him back into shape is a summer at most.
