  1. Huh, I didnt know you needed a passport to go to the Virgin Islands. Do you need one for Puerto Rico too? Had a great fathers day. Mrs. Gfted1 gave me a special wakup followed by breakfast in bed. Then it was present time from my daughter. Ahh, how I love cheezy homemede Fathers Day presents, theyre so cute. Later on I grilled up some kickass steaks and had a few beers. Good times.
  2. Heh, I learned to drive in the mighty Datsun B210 Hatchback like below: Except ours had that swanky faux wood panel on the side.
  3. Hehe, congrats! When are you going to pop the question?
  4. Dont you need a browser to do a Windows update? I know when I click on the update function it opens a new tab in Explorer and navigates itself to the URL.
  5. Beautiful but you aint kidding on the price!

Youre right, thanks, had an interesting read on them at Wiki.
  7. I would bet its because of the players themselves. While you may find a handful of players that would be satisfied with merely "doing good" most of us are greedy bastages that want to have their cake and eat it too. Meaning, we want to be the "white hat" while also receiving the BFG3000 as a reward.
  8. Also, thats already been done. Playing a paladin in IWDII would trigger a "I cant accept a reward" kinda response when you turned in a quest. It sucked.

I cant remember much either but a few points that I do: 1) The V's were actually a genetically engineered slave race that escaped from the true bad guys. (or maybe that was their cover story) 2) Due to said engineering, they had two hearts to make them tougher. 3) Salt water was like sulfuric acid to them.
  10. Sheesh, I barely slip under the wire with the minimum specs. Except for the fact I dont even have a Core 2, but a single core 3GHz. Do you suppose they actually wrote code that utilizes multiple cores or its just a matter of the Core 2's being so much faster?
  11. Very cool. Of course, the problem isnt the technology, which has been freely avaiable for years, its the infrastructure. There just arent any stations to refuel at. Even this program suffers the fatal flaw of only providing stations in the city where the cars are sold. What happens when you need to travel in excess of 200 miles?
  12. Huh, wadda you know. @Hurlshot: Are you somehow affiliated with that developer? @Llyranor: Clicky
  13. Wow, only 30 days for running over someone while drunk. That must have been a big ass check!
  14. That does mitigate my anger. Hopefully, you are right about this. Even if it doesnt ship with an OEM browser, from the article:
  15. Aye, Ill be the big four-oh this December.
  16. Ah yes, "paying it forward". I agree with you though, good does beget good, and vice versa.
  17. I know man, I know...
  18. The Uninvited Not scary at all but at least I didnt see the end coming. Role Models Pretty good and several spots had me laughing out loud.
  19. Had a good weekend. My daughters 9th birthday kicked off with a party attended by a bunch of her school friends followed up with a sleepover. Its just the cutest thing ever.
  20. I would like to gauge opinions on this. I suspect most of you will agree because Microsoft eats babies but to me this sounds totally ridiculous. Do they actually expect a company to provide their competetors product on their software? Seriously? Why, because nobody should have to actually d/l it themselves? Opera and Firefox should be given a free ride on Microsofts dime? What?

  22. Level 10, endurance bump and a new hatchet, woohoo!
  23. Huh, very interesting. It wasnt that way in North America afaik but I can only speak for the 4-5 servers Ive created toons on. The worst thing that happens to me is about 2-3 times a month I will inexplicably get "Disconnected from the server" and have to relog. I mean, of course I too sometimes get lag, especially in a pitched WG battle but besides that its smooth sailing. Blizzard is golden in my book. Every single game Ive ever purchased from them (Diablo, Diablo II, LoD, WoW + all expansions) has been flawless right out of the box. I cant say the same for anyone else.
  24. Maybe they are? Mkreku had a great post a while back about his experience beta testing for Blizzard where he stated that their Beta builds were like other companies Gold + 2 patches. Maybe they are better, with a much tighter QA department and a bottomless pit full of zots. Maybe they just care more about their products. Have you every purchased a bug riddled Blizzard game like the crap other companies pump out and then shrug their shoulders over?
