I always wondered how they came up with that 20% stat. How do you quantify what wasn't observed / reported? Im sure there are many many cases that go unreported but pulling some number out of the air always sounded fishy to me.

Until we have three precogs floating in a tank somewhere, were going to have to rely on crime victims to report the crimes.

I didn't have the energy to slog through six pages so this may have been addressed; nobody got a free pass as nobody bothered reporting the crimes until ~40 years later, much after the statute of limitations ran out. But where there's smoke there's fire, imo.

Disagree with the OP. The last thing PoE needs is more mechanics to prevent .5% of players from doing something. We already have: no healing, limited resting, unlimited inventory and no kill xp, all to prevent someone from doing something.

Well, are you absolutely sure? Two people on the internet seem to be agreeing on having that impression, so perhaps it must be objectively true! One of them is lying... When you say you " redid your fireplace " did you do this work yourself or did you pay someone to actually do it for you ? The description of work is by someone who did it himself, surely. It's oozing with manly self-industrious pride. Okay you probably right, the reason I asked is I'm really not good at DIY so I'm an admirer of people who have the skill to do this type of work themselves Lol, as MISO correctly deduced, I did the work myself. Im actually very handy with regards to DIY mechanical and electrical work. If its simple I can usually just look at it and figure it out and if its more complex I'll break down and RTFM.

Its a real fireplace, it just burns natural gas instead of wood. That's why the original logs were ceramic, to last forever. Wood burning fireplaces are for chumps. Waaaaaay too much work.
