Now theyve hit a jackpot and theres absolutely no reason to return to work until the dole runs out. Luckily we'll just print up another Trillion to overpay everyone for no apparent reason. Dont get me wrong, its a win for me too so Ill just ride this thing into the ground like everyone else. Hmm, now that I think about it, if we can afford to give everyone on unemployment an ADDITIONAL $2,400 / month on top of their normal dole payment, why not print up several Trillion more and give everyone UBI? Win/win!

Im still butthurt that Yang didnt get the Democratic nomination. That 1k/month/adult UBI would have changed my life.

Look at Mr. Optimistic over there thinking that SS wont have collapsed upon itself by then! But seriously I want the UBI now, to be combined with my normal income, not when Im ~13 years away from dying (statistically 78.5 yo) and retired. That way I can get my relax on while I can still enjoy it. 👍

That makes me wonder if IL has/had such a candidate. If so I might have overcome my inertia for the "down vote" candidate that was advocating for UHC. Papa getting old and will need a UHC golden parachute to ease me into my golden year. That and UBI.
