Surely theres a syllabus handed down from above, but they probably allow a little wiggle room. I suppose thats close enough to expertise.

Youre probably right. Ive never even paid attention to the down ballot candidates before, but now that I know I have a voter registration card (who knew!) maybe Ill vote. But not if I have to go there and stand in line. My card directs me to some voting location at a nearby church but I wonder if IL has electronic voting. 🤔

No thats only 1% of the reason. The other 142% is complete apathy. Although Trump is enough of a dumpster fire to have at least made me consider voting, I trust that IL will vote D as always.

@Malcador The three days I was there was basically me just screaming in my own head. Just imagine not being able to scroll past a lawyers wall of text and being trapped in the same room with them.

No, we do not. I just texted my wife and she sent me pictures of our voter registration cards. I didnt even know I was registered! Bastards better not call me for jury duty again.

This has happened to me twice (and my wife once), via random text. I havent voted since one of the Bush's (cant remember which) and my wife has never voted, so who know why.

Not me! Take your pick, "the rich" are a good jumping off point and those corporate fat cats own me something too. Either way I fall into the tax brackets that would be receiving end, and brother, Im ready to kick up my heels and ride off into the sunset. :sombrero:

I hate to poop in the punchbowl, but do you see that little hole in the back wall of the sink just below the faucet? Its called an "overflow hole" and its there precisely to prevent a sink from overflowing if the drain is plugged and the water left running. It can be in the front or back but Ive never seen a sink without one.

Hmm, the US has the shortest, or tied with shortest, presidential term limit as compared to every country in the world (except Fiji and Nauru).

nfl 2020-2021
Only one thing left to do...blow the whole thing up and start rebuilding that O-line (and D-line, and ST). Im not sure if they can shed those oversize contracts for Elliott / Lawrence without a crushing cap hit. Tyron Smith needs to hang up the cleats, too much accumulated damage over the years and hasnt played a full season since 2016(?). Ill give the coaching staff a pass for this season. Ironically, considering the state of the NFCE, Dallas may not get a top 10 pick by virtue of winning that putrid division.

Looks like we need more UHC up in here then. Of course none of this would have been a problem if we had elected the best candidate on the planet, Andrew Yang, and gotten that sweet sweet UBI. I smh at the lost opportunity for everyone to afford UHC. Damn shame.
