I have made the difficult decision to save the first, and possibly second, dose of the vaccine for some rando oldster, as they tend to have multiple health conditions.

Heh, I used to change my own oil but honestly its too much of a pita to deal with. By the time you buy the oil and filter, shimmy under the car to drain the pan and replace the filter, refill the oil...theres barely any financial saving. Then you still have the headache of taking the used oil back to the auto parts store for disposal. 👎

True dat. It comes apart into individual components which are easy enough to clean. But even though Im frying with vegetable oil, I didnt want to pour it down my sink, so I dumped it into some grocery bags and then the garbage. There was a bit of a learning curve with wet batter too...learning how to gently "float" it into the oil so it doesnt stick to everything.

Did I mention that I got a fryer a while back? I LOVE THIS THING! So far Ive made panko crusted shrimp, beer battered cod and french fries, and everything has turned out perfectly. Sometimes I just go pour a basket of fries, mix up a big blob of ketchup and mayo, salt the hell out of em and eat the whole plate.

Ive never taken the flu vaccine either (like you I almost never catch the flu), but Im not an antivaxxer. I dont want to be the guinea pig for, imo, a vaccine that is being rushed out due to all the pant crapping going on. Just like the chicken littles on this forum that qq into every post, you cant see straight with your eyes full of tears. Ill get on board ~V2.0 or 3.0 unless they force me sooner.

Tbh, I probably wont take Covid-19 vaccine v1.0 either. Unless its mandated nats.

I am thrilled to report that my two furry girls made it through the spaying with flying colors. HUZZAH! They are eating / drinking / potty / playing, but I did keep them in the bedroom with us last night because they were still a little high when they got home and I didnt want them to take a tumble down the stairs.
