  1. Well I am pretty sure that percentage of slaves was much higher previously than in times of American colonisation, what I was pointing out is that those previously oppressed are not playing oppression card infinitely. Lets ask simple question - when will blacks in US stop complain about it? I thought it would be in moment they get same rights as rest of population but it seems its not the case. So what is our end goal here?
  2. Comparing the Barbary states to the trans Atlantic trade slave is kinda like comparing Walmart to my corner kiosk. That's not enough historical context. Also, the irony of doing a clickbait video about Buzzfeed. Well I think you have it other way around, there were far more white slaves through the history than black ones. Only difference is that it was more recent and much more well documented in America. Hell slavery is still a thing in middle east and Asia now, and its not done by white folk. Not that I want to diminish its impact on blacks in US. But sending butthurt messages on twitter through iphone about - muh i am still oppressed is kinda ... low
  3. doing same, but don't have enough shields
  4. Perhaps they don't believe that her laughter was a reflex. It's legal to protest, but not during Senate hearings. If this can be justified trough a law, it becomes more, not less outrageous Not that I would like to look like I agree with persecution for laughter but there are places where you are suppose to keep quite - e.g at court IIRC
  5. on other hand, did anyone noticed how narrator in Stellaris is soo similar to Alpha Centauri?
  6. Can't agree more, I was so frustrated by this yesterday that I just stop playing. I can see ambush group from miles away but I can't attack them from range and when I enter combat there are 3 archers which just focus fire 2 of my characters without shields and down them instantly GRRR
  7. The plot thickens: http://thefederalist.com/2017/05/02/bill-nye-censor-transgender-ideology/ Every day we become more like the Soviet Union. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Historical_negationism
  8. Blade I'd argue that most superhero movies that came out in the past few years were good, with a few exceptions. They're not high-brow entertainment of course - but eh, neither was Blade (I love the series, yeah, even the second one). I'm not sure I'd rate any of them as great* movies and I doubt any of them will go down in history except for being amongst the highest grossing movies of all time. But even the most forgettable Marvel MCU fare these days is competently made. While I found much of it to be completely forgettable (like Iron Man 2 or Thor) they are arguably well made - good - movies. Especially when compared to other blockbuster summer movie crap that happens to be around, like Transformers or any number of Roland Emmerich films. * I suppose Logan comes as close to great as mainstream comic book movies can. Of course there are always films like Birdman or Super, but those weren't based on existing comic books. Nor were they really superhero movies per se. My view is probably screwed, I just can't stand 'super hero' movies. And I am not fan of comics neither. But I liked Blade because it was decently down to earth (well except for ending) set in believable word and pure action. Heck I din't knew it was made based on comic and that for me i testament to decent movie. I mean imagine that you never seen any comic book and you realise in 10 minutes into movie its another fairy tale based on comics. Boring

  16. Hilarious:
  17. Sex = genitals. Gender = social roles/mores enforced on you on the basis of your sex that vary from culture to culture. The right demands one's freedoms be limited on the basis of your sex i.e. you must dress and act in accordance with whatever arbitrary set of customs have been enforced on your sex. And the left insists if you don't follow what arbitrary social mores are expected of your sex you must in fact be the other sex or somewhere in between because there's no way a woman could hate makeup or a man could like dresses. EDIT: Oh, and the OP was ****. What a waste of 5 minutes. Not going into this anymore You just say the same think I posted I thought '!=' is well known sign
  18. If you consider an entire group of people who all say the same thing to be crazy, every single one ignore them, maybe they aren't the problem... That explains a few thing about German history... Burns
