North Korea issue: Trump vs. Great Leader Kim Jong Un
Chilloutman replied to Heijoushin's topic in Way Off-Topic
Absolutely agree. I'm thinking more zombie swarm tactics. Overwhelm with the sheer mass of numbers. Works for the undead. Freedom is achieved only when it is valued more dear than life itself. If those 50 people, even if the majority of them, decided it would be better to die fighting than live one more day under the control of the man holding that gun then they will be free and he will be dead. The men who signed our Declaration of Independence, a declaration of war on the most powerful nation in the world in that day, wrote in the last sentence "We mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor". That is the level of commitment that freedom requires of those who want it that don't have it. Easy to say if you live in free country. Try it when you don't know if your neighbor is not government spy -
I thought this one is simple: Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of the women! (usually your own)

To be fair, you'd have to have an interest in science and facts to start with. Or music; weird all killed it

I still understand limitations of media, what I am talking about is focus. If we take old ME as example: 1. minimal environmental hazards (toxic planets, too hot or too cold planets or even barren planets) 2. laws of physics (gravity, vacuum, thrust, acceleration, deacceleration, the law of conservation of energy..) 3. astronavigation, spaceflight in general 4. biology and morphology of alien species 5. exploration of unknown most of this stuff was just very minor fluff but I would like game mechanics to be more focused on these areas

Eh...Classic Science fiction had that though. John Carter meets red martian alien Dejah Thoris, falls in love and marries her in 1912's A PRINCESS OF MARS. I think it'd be hard to argue that it isn't part of the science fiction oeuvre; now whether it should be pursued in a game is a matter altogether different, but to reject it because it isn't "classic science fiction" is a bit silly when it was there since the earliest days of classic science fiction. I am not arguing its never been there, I just stressed that I want more Science in it and less human interaction between them/red martian chicks

So money made him realize he was wrong the first time around? Mmm, the two are not mutually exclusive. See epigenetics for example. True, but gender in particular is a broader term that encompasses more than just biological sex and deals with matters social, cultural, psychological and so on, which *can* be determined by a biological factor as much as it can by others. Anyhow I'll drop this since it isn't the thread to discuss the matter. well, its up to definition, it was usually used as synonym for sex, but it seems people like to redefine this word lately at least in my language there is only one word for sex = gender, we have something which is called 'rod' which is used in grammar (she,he,it)

Oh, I'm 100% sure there were people that gasped. Which was probably closely followed by clutching their chests and averting their gazes. As we have all learned, nobody has, or ever will again, suffer as the jews have suffered. Also nobody can EVER be as evil as Hitler. True story. Well Stalin already beat Hitler decades ago....
