  1. Those in the U.S. should pre-order from Best Buy. I find that they are pretty reliable when delivering stuff and the estimated shipdate for KotOR 2 is February 8th for them.
  2. A few... So basically we have to wait a few months for a FEW bugs to fixed... Anyways, enough of the cynicism. Hope you have fun playing KotOR 2. *hint* Maybe you can... "donate" that review copy to ... hehehe .
  3. Good find but I think these are a bit old... (no offence :D)
  4. Hahaha you suckers, we get the game on Feburary 8th. ONLY 5 DAYS FOR NORTH AMERICA!!!
  5. I play games for fun, not for the challenge of it. so i am gonna play it on Easy, Normal and Difficult. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I find that if I play on easy, I tend to rush through the game and miss some of the interesting stuff. After a while since its so easy, you just don't bother with the quests and tend to turn a blind eye towards sidequests since you just want to beat the game. Ofcourse if you just suck... I can spend hours reloading the game to explore all the possible choices. This tremendously increases the replay value. Also, since you can corrupt or save those in your party the permutations are endless.
  6. Also coming for PC too! Hopefully this version will be rid of those pesky bugs :D
  7. USE THE GODDAMNED SPOILERS TAG!!!!!!!!!!!! its [ spoiler ] BLA BLA BLA [ /spoiler ] (w/o the spaces) I know its just speculation but still!
  8. Go to moderation options and then select delete...
  9. $ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Excerpt from Tales of the PC users : Darth Gates, Darth Lucas and the agent's of EvilSoft and DarkusArts decided to destroy all hope for a simaltaneous release because they wanted to make more money...
  10. *Sigh* But the interview wasn't meant to be productive. All the questions have to go through LucasArts first or if Mike Gallo sees a question he doesn't like, he just won't answer it. They don't want to admit that they couldn't really care about the PC version but they dont wan't us PC owners to b*tch that we aren't getting the game while the X-BOX users are. That's the only reason they're even developing KotOR 2 for the PC. Just look at the priority the PC release is given huh? There are 5 people working on the WHOLE game which is pretty sad. When the game was being developed for X-BOX ATLEAST 15 people were working on it. That's unpossible. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Indeed. Considering the man managed to fool many of his countrymen into going to war with another sovereign nation on the pretense that they had WMDs when they didn't (and that fact was pretty obvious...). Ofcourse, many still did oppose the war it's just that their voices were ignored. Just imagine Mike Gallo getting booted out of office: [Reporter] : Why were you voted out? [Mike Gallo] : *sniff* *sniff* I couldn't lie well enough...
  11. if he ever loses his job at lucasarts, he need not worry. hes got great potential for a career in politics. " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yea, he'd have to compete with the likes of some great statesmen like George W. Bush... Which one would "out lie" the other?
  12. LS and DS Male : Handmaiden + other NPCs
  13. Hu did you say is hot?
  14. What are you talking about? Don't be foolish. Nobody downloads games, that's illegal... I agree with jaguars, pirating is such a harsh word. It's simply "try before you buy". That way you are sure your purchase won't be a waste.
  15. But that would be the logicla thing to do. Remember who we are dealing with.
  16. I'm that Consular/Master person. Even though I've never played the game, the Consular was my favourite class in KotOR I. Basically since the Jedi Master or Sith Lord class is basically an extension of the Consular class, I'm quite tempted to try out some of the new force powers. Besides, I usually avoid fights and if I cant, I set the script so that my PC is Jedi/Droid support, Juhani is Default Attack and either Bastila or Canderous is incharge of the finishing attack role.
  17. He didn't even answer the question, he just avoided it all together. Several weeks of polish but when GameSpy posted a preview, the article EXPLICITLY mentioned many annoying bugs. That build was also a 98% complete version but it still had countless bugs... Also, if you look at the gamespot interview, he did the same thing : Umm... Ok, did you answer the question? No... It just seems like all the suggestions were ignored but then again, what can you expect from LucasArts? He didn't even mention anything about bug squashing.
  18. Shouldn't this thread be deleted or something? No offence or anything but it's not serving any real purpose is it? I mean it said pretty clearly that international X-BOX users and PC (presumably U.S. PC users) users would get the game in February 2005. It's quite obvious they'll have a UK version... Assuming that the pre-order date for KotOR 2 for PC is February 8th, the International XBOX release won't be too far off...
  19. Very disappointing considering the longer wait...
  20. Great... we waited 2 months for nothing... You'd think with all this time, they would add extra content or fix the bugs but NOTHING!!! WHY THE HELL DID WE WAIT THIS LONG THEN? If the build they were looking at was not the complete version that is to be released for PC then, maybe there is still hope. I'm hoping that the other 2% will be bug squashing so we can play KotOR 2 WITHOUT any stupid bugs/glithces/other annoying things.
  21. That's foreshadowing right there! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He must be gifted... I swear, he should get in that line of work. Maybe he should join the ranks of the Echani warriors (they can predict the outcome of battles too). I mean he predicted something that would happen 4000 years from then. I can't even predict what will happen 5 minutes from now (Can anyone?).
  22. wont that cause events to trigger at the wrong time? for instance, if an event triggers at level 15, then instead of it triggering at about the halfway point of the game, it wont trigger until near the end, cause problems. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It will?
  23. NOTHING BEATS MOUSE AND KEYBOARD!!! What sane individual would make such a statement? Unless ofcourse you want to open yourself for ridicule that is... My mouse is probably worth more than an X-BOX Controller...
  24. Seeing as I haven't actually PLAYED the game, I can't say what the replay value is. I do remember however that you can recruit certain NPCs only if you are of a particular alignment or gender (Hanharr, Mira, Handmaiden - if you are male). I also hear that even though you end up in the same place at the ending, (Don't know what it is) you can kill/save Jedi Masters and also complete quests in various ways. While this was there in KotOR I, I hear in TSL that it's much more expanded...
  25. You don't need a developer to tell you the answer to that Besides bug squashing, very little if nothing is being done. That's because only 5 developers are working on the PC version now. Before that, over 20 or so developers were working on KotOR II. It just shows how little LucasArts cares for all us poor PC users...
