That has been proven ineffective. Not only can these people get an illegal gun, but they can just as easily aquire a license. That guy in Finland a few months ago had a license, and Finland has much more restricitve gun laws than you could ever hope to get in the US. You just cant legislate away school shootings.

Arming everyone wont work, and will just cause a huge number of accidental shooting. Enforcing psychiatric evaluations for gun owners doesnt work since it seems relatively easy to get illegal firearms. Love doesnt work since we're not hippies. Monolith and Gearbox are equally mediocre, IMO. But gearbox earned some cred with me because of their attempt to add more gamplay to the FPS genre with the whole covering fire system in BiA. It was flawed, sur, but a good effort nontheless. FEAR on the other hand was a straight-up shooter with no surprises.

Me and my friends are playing Forza2 loads and loads now. We take turns at driving and wve played for like 20hours but we're still only 16% into the career, what are we doing wrong? Unreal3 is a highly optimized and fast engine, everyone with an average computer should be able to run MEPC at 1280x1024 on the highest settings without a hitch. ...also, it was fairly obvious that ME would be released on PC

The question that Id ask myself is "What does a health/healing system this complex add to the gameplay, and does it really belong in this game?" For CoD4 it would just add a completly pointless element, that goes right against the fast-paced action this game is all about. It would be like adding a feature that kept a measure on how much dirt got into your gun, and that you had to stop every 5min to clean your gun or it will jam. It might sound cool on paper but is it: Realistic? Yeah. Pointless? Definently. Frustrating? Perhaps.

I think it would definently piss off the entire middle-east if Hillary was to win the election. To put it comicly; now only would they find themselves pwnd time and time again, but they would be pwnd by a blond white chick. There would be extremists in every street corner raving at the fact that "the great satan" has upped the ante by not only being iraq-invading blaspheming infidels, but now also so unthinkably depraved as to elect a woman! silly sods.

I strongly prefer it to the old system of having hitpoints and having to pick up medkits all the time. I think its a design improvement that helps avoid the frustration of comming out of a firefight with low health and thus being unavoidably mowed down in the next encounter, forcing the player to load a previous save or backtrack until finding a medkit.

me too, but alot of games cant handle monitor resolutions. I know Halo3 is aboslutely horrible, it looks like complete crap on my monitor, it cant even scale the ratio properly so instead it squeezes the picture horizontally. CoD4 is blurry, but ok. Mass Effect can crunch 1280x1024 with no problems whatsoever

Im with you there, Sand. I prefer to play on my PC, but my 360 is nice to have so you can play ALL the good games. Ive started playing games I would never have trid on the PC like driving- or sportsgames and so on. And Mass Effect is really worth the price of getting a 360 to play it. The bad things are that you sort of need a HDTV, because consoles handle non-HDTV standards very poorly. And the games cost a fortune comparted to PC games.

If I was an American, Id vote for Obama. Not because he's black or whatever, that is irrelevant, but his agenda is the most sensible one. I like McCain as a person, but he would essentially continue to do exactly what GWB has been doing these past eight years, and that wont do anyone any good. Religious nutcakes shouldnt be legally allowed to hold political office, IMO. Religion and politics go together like water and battery acid.
