Its integral to the gameplay that you can see your character in GoW-like 3PS games. And when it comes to something RPG-ish like Mass Effect Id say its essential, you want to be able to look at all your cool armor and stuff.

I agree that its more fun when the AI uses different and more advanced tactics to beat you. I dont remember there ever being game that does that though (because AI is usually not a priority in game development) The normal way of increasing damage etc. forces you to use more advanced tactics to make it. In ME that means you have to use a lot of tech, biotics and the right equipment.

I dont know, you had a jetpack and fought stuff on buildings and large mineshafts. Seemed very 3/5

ME on hard-to-insane is no cakewalk. You have to use every trick at your disposal to get through it. You cant play a game on normal and then bitch that it was too easy.

I still say its a ripoff to take stuff out of the game and pretend its "extra content" that you just happen to have ready right at release. Its just like they're selling cars with "buy now and get all four wheels included for free!"

He just gave you a $3000 graphics card?! And a Quadro is for working with high-end 3D stuff in programs like 3ds Max, Maya, Softimage etc. It wont make 2D stuff like Photoshop run any faster, although it can display waay more colours than a normal gfx.. you'd need a very expensive high-end monitor to see it though. Your 275 is probably just as fast, or faster than the Quadro when it comes to gaming. Summary: unless you're planning to go into the Visual Effects Industry, this card is useless to you.
