Can we call you Frank? I have a great forum persona, I start off normally, then I get ever increasingly audacious over months or even years until I finally polevault over the line and get myself banned. It never fails. :D

I figured out how to switch sound channels on my decoder so I could watch Cartoon Network in english and as I was flipping through the channels waiting for Clone Wars to come on, I stumbled upon one-of-those-channels that show you-know-what. A female was practising fellatio upon a member of the opposite sex, which is fine, the horror laid in the sound. I now know why the its always so muffled and low in pornfilms. But now the sound was on full and crystal clear as though I could her it inside my head. I will never forget the slurping, the gurgling and the smacking. ...the horror ...the horror

Most exciting aspect of Episode III

I just saw George Lucas explain that "the prequels are about the tragedy of a good man falling to evil" I would say its more about an increadibly annoying little whiny **** that ruins everything for everyone else. -
KOTOR 3 - Truth or speculation
Kaftan Barlast replied to RobMcB's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
As most of us know, LA started pre-production of K3 but were forced to drop the project due to financial cutbacks. No game has ever risen again after being dropped so the chances of us seeing it are minimal to nonexistant. The only chance it has, is if the fanbase manages to stay active long enough to persuade LA to let a third party develop it. Such as with Fallout 3. But even if they started development right now, it would take atleast 2 years for it to reach the shelves, so you're in for a long wait. -
No they are quite aware of it. They are also aware that the console market is much less prone to that sort of thing. So blame your friends and people like them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The last time I saw figures(in the UK) of this they estimated that Xbox piracy has the lead over PC piracy by 60-40. Counterfeit console games, pressed in Asia are vastly more common than PC software. They couldnt be more wrong if they believe consoles is a way to beat the pirates.

The Xbox version of K2 was, as with many other games, released prior to the PC version so that as many people as possible would buy that version since an Xbox game is around 20% more expensive. The other big reason was that they thought they needed to get in on the Christmas sales.

Hah, I used to play it extensively multiplayer (I was in teh ph34r3d 1337 clan [AP]) and there was nothing realistic about it. Just the usual sniper-whoring, grenade-spamming, shotgun-bunnyjump and rush tactics.

First of all. In the philosofical sense, there is no such thing as a PC exclusive. PC is the basic norm, the main highway from which all others branch out. The companies overrate this console thing. Sure, a lot of my friends have an Xbox but all of them are modified, and none of them pay for their games.

Nope, I never cheat. I remember that from a documentary about David Cronenberg I saw a while ago.

Cortosis ninja gloves? Just for your information, issue 1# of Star Wars Obsession miniseries features a "vibrowip" aka a lightsaberwhip but the authors were too chicken to be up front with it.

I just tried the Darkside underwear thing. Apparently, it was made so they wouldnt have to re-texture any more skin. Easier to cover it up with an all-covering black spandex tracksuit.

If you take this: ..and think about this: Imagine what would have hapened had the following scenario taken place in Chris basement. Chris the GM: - ..Kreiahs lifeless body falls to the floor. And then it's all over. Player: -What do you mean its all over? Chris: -That was the end. The campaign is finished now. Players: -But what happened to.. where did.. what are we? Chris: *collects their character sheets and begins to pack up* Players: *sits dumbfounded*

I gave in and skimmed a few pages. Self-discipline isnt my thing. -
Without getting much into the rumours of Obsidians third creation. I and many others find the signs of a trend of developers giving up the traditional PC market for console exclusive games, worrying. Now what are the reasons for this? We know that BioWare's "Jade Empire" was a result of their deal with Microsoft, but what other reasons are there?

I think K2 is the best game Ive ever played, but to make a gross understatement, the ending sure could have been a little more elaborate. edit: Yes, Ive played KoTOR and virtually every major game for the PC since 1993.

I have the first part of the Ep3 comic book. Its difficult to decide if Ill read it now or save it, if i read it now the film is spoiled. But if I see the film first, reading the comic will be pointless. -
Seppuku was the formal ritual of suicide practised by the Samurai of old Japan. The basic principle of cutting your abdomen open is the same but it also requires an assistant, a Kaishakunin, that beheads the Samurai. This was done partially to "ease the pain" and partially so the victim would not disgrace himself by screaming or twitching around from the pain. Seppuku was a way of death reserved for samurai only(considered by some to be a privillige). Since the Samurai class was officially abolished in 1867 with the Meiji restoration, so was the ritual of seppuku. Still, the practise lived on but could no longer be called "seppuku". Therefore its usually called "harakire". ..the origins of it was that in acient Japan, sometime in the 1100 I believe. A certain general(I have forgotten his name) was loosing a battle and instead of being captured and tortured by the enemy, he cut open his stoumach after ordering his second to sever his head afterwards, and take it away so the enemy couldnt desecrate it.

Are you a tragic Star Wars nerd?
Kaftan Barlast replied to Kaftan Barlast's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
No, just stupid enough to agree to meet someone he met on the internet without taking necessary precautions(pictures from all four angles, birth record, a copy of the persons medical file etc.) ..but he's not a normal person. He got an internship at a mortician for instance. Once he got to dress up a dead body in cowboy clothes and photograph it for the family. -
