Ive mentioned this before but there is a rather delicate problem in the swedish countryside that is forcefully quiteted down, its is complete and utter taboo due to PC-ism. One of my bests friends dad is senior physician of the maternal ward(unsure if thats proper translation) of the regional hospital. Anyway its quite apparent that the bulk of childbirths are from families of the "redneck variety", they get more children than other families and at a very young age. This causing problems of all kinds, most noticeably in the schools. But its a silent law not to talk about it because its associated with nazi doctrine.

If you use miniatures, its easy to fall into a boardgame way of thinking and killing the RPG feeling. But sometimes you feel like it would be a great idea in soke situations: Player: -I try to sneak closer. GM: -He turns around and stabs you in the face. Player: -WTF?! The problem is that whatever word the use instead, will come to be considered "non-pc" in just a small matter of time because the real issue is in the general public opinion. Todays scientific term may be tomorrows ***-word. Take "Japs" for instance., its just a brevity for "Japanese" and yet its commonly considered offensive. We're experts on being PC in Sweden, we change the term for "immigrant" every 10 years or so. We should all just stop marking specific words and look to the context instead.

yeah I do the exact same.. but I usually speak with a 'normal' british accent .. I speak danish wonderfully. "Hvorfor aer paprika Steen syk? I was on the train a while ago and this girl in front of me started talking on her cellphone. She spoke english with a very strong snotty brittish accent, and I naturally assumed she was brittish. Then she got another call and behold, she's a Swede speaking in a completely different voice. This disturbed me somewhat. Although I do it too, and even worse than that, since I switch accents every other sentence and unconsciously mimic the particular accent of whoever Im happen to be talking to. Is this a disease born by learning languages via television? Nurbs> I thought you were a frenchie?
