As long as you do not try and sell it, you can do it without legal trouble. A homemade NWN module isnt more of a breach of copyright than a Star Wars fanfic, sure they could try and sue you but why would they bother?

I dont really GM D&D but in Starwars d20 I give them max Vitality points/level. I dont like killing player characters. But it is very strange to have HP depened on randomness, the swede rpgs I played in my youth all had values that depended on an attribute.

Alan Moores comics are not meant for kids, so you can read them without feeling ashamed about being immature. But V was meant to be a poke at the Thatcher goverment so that they are now changin this to reflect modern times is fully in order. Then, that they will completely ruin it by hollywoodising it is another matter.

Alan Moore isnt very pleased about the way his comics have all been raped when filmed. From hell and LoEG had virtually nothing to do with the original comics. I think they were able to do V for Vendetta because of some legal thing that meant Moore had no say in the matter whatsoever. Im surprised Moore hasnt taken the same hardcore stance against filming his works as Frank Miller has.

I cant wait for it to be released because it means that we might be able to do modules for it as part of the education. 15 Game Design students working for 10 weeks wont be able to do much of a game from scratch or even by modifying an already existing engine, but with this we will be able to actually do full games and practise story/narrative, drama and character development instead of just the purely technical aspects.
