KotOR was better..... too many things were done "half way" in KotOR II.

- Didn't have many myself - yeah, but she's so annoying - rubbish - one of the few good things in the game, IMO - nope, still silly - yup - I Agree - depends on your character build - you have to use him A LOT - Doh! - too many - it was nice - depends of a persons definition of "SW Feel" now doesn't it. C'mon Hades. You have to atleast give the PC version a shot. Regardless of how critical you are about the game, I can say with certainty that you will have FUN. After you beat it, then you can bash it some more rofl - dr cloak <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I really hate to side with Hades, but..... the only things KotOR II has over KotOR I are-> - Higher Level Cap (a bad thing, IMO) - More Force Powers (give variety) - More Feats (ditto) - Better use of skills (Except Persuation, liked the use of awereness) - Better Robes (but no hoods, other than visas and kreia) - More upgrades on lightsabres (like we'd need the most powerful weapon in SW to be MORE powerful). But then again, I'm not a 13 years old fanboy, who'd probably love the game. I didn't like it.... ... That however, doesn't mean that other poeple can't enjoy it.

Amen to that. after all there are NO guaranties that there will be KotOR III... ...and even if there would be, who's saying that it'll continue the story of kotOR II ?

Thing allways boil down to personal tastes... I'm not going to buy or steal the game, I tested it on X-box and didn't like it (though it wasn't, IMO as buggy as some people have suggested). the KotOR I got 79% from me KotOR II is about 55% My only true regret now is that I'm officially worried for NWN2... I only hope that the ineptitude of the devs wasn't the main reason for the shortcomings of KotOR II (again, just my opinion).

The influence system is flawed . I only played it some 7 hours or so... ...but It didn't have the SW feeling to It.

no, I borrowed it from a friend of mine (he imported the game last week). could conly play about 7 hours though. He was right when he said I wouldn't like it... Too bad... oh well, there will be other games (I really hope Obsidian makes a better effort with NWN2).

Sometimes the stupidity of people can suprise you... As I recall, KotOR III was under work by LucasArts but it got cancelled, they laid off 30 odd people, IIRC.

You're kidding, right GoA... a bug free PC game, NEVER. We'll get higher resolution and Antialiasing hech maybe even more detailed textures, but that's it. But hey, atleast we'll get patches, the poor international X-boxers wont get anything.

Doubt it, Devs said there wouldn't be any... It's my understanding that X-Box games must be pre-coded to be able to recieve DLs via Live. Kotor 2 wasn't.
