Healthier compared to what? I know you guys have taco shops up there, too, so it can't be those. I suppose 70% soy and 30% actual meat at Taco Bell is healthier than 100% red meat beef burritos anywhere. I recently heard Mexico is more obese now than the US. Not that burritos cause obesity, or even came from Mexico ...

On the national news, they showed a photo of two of those women Marines standing at the POA, looking every bit as buff as the males around them. That is awesome, and seriously impressive, congratulations to them. An 03- capable female Marine ... warms my heart.

I'd like to skip Windows and build a low-level API machine only for Steam games. I mean I think it sounds good ... Linux and/or Steam OS, both on an SSD ... perhaps with Kaveri/270 hardware, nothing bonkers ... and Mantle, if it proves to be worthwhile. No DirectX, no Internet Explorer, no high-level Windows bloat getting in the way ... I love the idea. Should be plenty of games available, too, by then, from what I'm seeing, even AAA. With any luck, at 1080p that R9 270 might perform like a 280 will under Windows.

I'm glad I went with Super Sexy Slim instead of Billy Bob's Big Box. Photo: Kyle Orland

Well, I haven't seen it yet, but in the days of future past, I will have seen The Desolation of Smaug and fallen again for Evangeline Lilly, who looks to be the bestest looking, most ass-kickinest elven archer in Middle-earth yet. Check out the new trailer on TV ... her character is going to make Legolas and Haldir (rest his soul) look like cub scouts at archery camp.

mmm ... Agent May, I love you. Do it again, that ass-kickin' thing you do, and say you'll love me, too. And the god of Cleaning Up After Yourself ... ahahaha!! Coulsen ...

I just try to remember that someone else always has it worse. Like, I can still walk, but how many uniforms out there lost their legs in an IED attack, or, instead of the academic standards committee, it's the VA that is ****ing administratively incompetent. It's hard to see through the self-fog, but the empathy you feel when you do might ease one's own roiling murk.

The testicle mention was paltry compared to the sex-trafficking, skin farming, abductions, and murdering of both human and android. Still, Almost Human is a triumph of character and visuals, Karl Urban is just impossibly charismatic, along with Michael Ealy. The lab guy is fantastic, too. Same with the police captain. It's shocking how well-developed all of their relationships feel, already. Season 5 Star Trek: TNG blu-ray release on deck, tonight, woot!!

Having more fun than I thought with the fourth edition of Assassin's Creed on the fourth version of the Playstation. The Caribbean jungles look as good as the Far Cry 3 jungles on my 7850 PC. I've never played an AC game before, but it's turning out to be fun. I was afraid it would be too much on rails, but the pace feels good and open enough, at least after the first chapter. Sound design is particularly good, too. Killzone: Shadowfall, on the other hand, looks bonkers, too, but isn't as fun as I'd hoped. I'm glad I bought it, but maybe I'm just not that into straight shooters. Lego Marvel Super Heroes will be here tomorrow ... pretty excited for that after all the positive reviews.

An early report that someone flashed a 290 into a full 290X. I didn't read the link, cause I'm starting to lose faith in compiler monkeys. Maybe it's just me, but there seems to be a rise in misinterpretation and a general confusion with news, opinion, and speculation all being equal. That would be cool, though, to save some cash and watts over a full-priced GPU and get the same performance.

Almost Human. I only saw the last half-hour, but there is good chemistry between Karl Urban's character and his android partner! I better look him up so I know of whom I speak. Michael Ealy, as Dorian. And a surprise role from the guy who played the pirate zombie with the wooden eyeball in Pirates of the Caribbean. Definitely will be tuning in tomorrow night for part two of the premiere.

Losing faith in organized competition. Three straight Chargers losses, Ferrari hasn't won a race for what seems like five years, Rory McIlroy completely blanked in 2013, and the Olympics are taking place in a frozen backwater trailer park in the Motherland. I swear to god if we don't deliver some seriously honest, clock-beating, judge-wowing golden goods in Sochi, I will give up completely, learn to crochet, move to Liechtenstein and start going to bed at 3:30pm right after ************* bingo.

That time you wake up with such a smug sense of self-satisfaction that you feel almost guilty, but then look over and notice how beautiful she is real it is and remember how distinctly attractive was the intimacy resolution of the night before. You think, hmm, maybe I should give this girl and her friend new console a commitment from deep within myself. At least, maybe right after breakfast.

I ... would almost trade-in today's PS4 parcel post for a gropey three-girl dilemma. Almost. Nevertheless, today I have to get a gift card for a buddy's b-day, then pick up a print copy of Game Informer magazine with the new Shadows of Mordor RPG on the cover, and then come home and power-down the Xbox to make room under the TV for the new Sony console. Looking forward to some pirates and gold acquisition this weekend.

I would think they mean in general terms, the highest number of injuries. Your average Joe Office probably doesn't 'put their back into it' for much of anything, or use the proper technique when attempting to. Until moving day, then I imagine those muscle groups buckle in a hurry, while the spinal column becomes a free-floating shock-absorber with no rebound and painful compression.

Oh, holy balls! I remember eating chicken hearts on a stick at a Brasilian restaurant. Very small, and slightly sweet. The cheesy bread was much better ... they were little balls of cheese-infused bread with a proper name, but I forget.

I like that it resembles 'rapport'. Odd that 'ro' and 'or' are switched. Is eating hearts common? I'm afraid that sounds as enticing as bloody oyster-shooters. I need some broccoli to wash out my eyes.

Someone please moderate this back on topic. PS4 System Software Update 1.5 is already live and available for download. It's an 860MB file, so if you're like me and don't have gigabit internet, get a flash drive and load it up in advance of Friday's rush. Edit: There are two versions of 1.5 ... the big 860MB one for if you're installing system software to a new hard drive, and a smaller 308MB file for simply updating the PS4 out of the box.

Of course, Tali mentions her sweat, in dialogue, at the get-together party pad DLC at the end of ME3. So if it was trolling, it was the homerun of trolling.
