  1. I got murder on my mind

  2. You can expect tripple crown solo achievement and beating POD with full party. Just wait for the 8th imho and look at the achievements on steam.
  3. Wish we had armor dyes, so i could get my shining forest green plate armor fix)))
  4. That's gonna look too dark. What would you do to make it lighter? Your technique seems to result in portraits that match the existing ones closely. Because I check portraits I edit against existing ones in game files. I made a post about how I do it in the previous thread: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/91743-portraits/?p=1956411 Explaining it further, if a portrait doesn't match I play with head layer's brightness/saturation/contrast. And if that isn't enough I merge all layers including the background so that nothing interferes, get a skin color sample out of some official watercolor portrait and then use good old brush tool + hue/color/normal with varying intensity percentages and paint the skin to have a better matching color. This color sampling technique also works to paint better looking colors on other parts of the portrait. Thanks. I've been giving it a bit of a crack this afternoon following that guide but I am a total noob at photoshop. Turning this and this into this. The bit that is killing me is getting the skin tones and light levels to match the existing ones since I don't have beta access to check against the ones in there. The blur tool seems key but I'm still trying to work out which details you want to go and which to keep. If you reconsider giving this one a go let me know hahah. You need to use Edge Refining tool, to make your img borders look smooth and not too pixelated. I got no beta access aswell, so can't check. Imho just make it look the best you can and it won't matter that much if you're a tone off. Aslong as it looks good ingame)) but if you're a perfectionist, just save your work as psd and play with tones once you got full game.
  5. That's gonna look too dark. What would you do to make it lighter? Your technique seems to result in portraits that match the existing ones closely. Here is a 34 points brighter version of this img. You gotta work with layers, otherwise your whole picture, including background, is modified. Now your background is too bright and won't match official portraits. And the head is still too dark. If you don't have the beta to check against, you can still look over here, for example: https://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Category:Pillars_of_Eternity_2_images_-_Portraits There are some official watercolor portraits. Aloth's and Vector's mugs are good enough examples. As i said, i do indeed got no access to beta, so it's abit hard to guess brightness/contrast etc. Im redoing the img atm, my photoshop crashed and i have no saved file,so those are just temporary.
  6. Im bored and waiting till POE 2 comes out, so here is my take on it.
  7. My 1st go at Wizard male portrait+watercoloring. Unfortunately can't see how they'll look in game, since im not in beta, but any critisism is welcome.
  8. Not sure if strongest, but found an Assassin Solo Triple Crown beta playthrough by sin tee Looks very promising and interesting. Hope he doesn't mind me posting it here ))
  9. Would be nice to hear what OBS thinks of this.
  10. I like the change. Brings poe back to traditional rpg roots. Might for healing and spell dmg didn't make any sense. Resolve on the other hand does.
  11. Isn't Lifegiver a non-shifting kinda kit? Lifegiver - Rejuvenation spells are cast with increased Power Level but cannot cast Summon spells.
  12. DAMN! That's alot of AOE dmg. Glad people are doing these beta tests, to find things like that.

  14. There are so many fantasy art images on the net, that you can find anything nowadays. It takes time to find the right one, but the game ain't out yet. So plenty of time to start collecting. Here is an old poe portrait thread you can start looking through https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/71722-the-custom-portraits-thread/
  15. I hope not! Love to slice me some wizards for breakfast. Spellcasters usually one of the more dangerous enemies in late game and i personally hate em robe wearing snobs with their magics )
  16. 1. Wouldn't Fire God-Like be better choice? The Way burn damage scale with all barb abilities, you basicly have one more retaliate 53 burn damage to all enemies around. I know moon-like has healing but it is the qustion between: kill faster than die or heal faster than die. Opinion? a.The healing from moon godlike, saved me alot of times in this. VS bosses especially. Also in 1v1 vs tough mobs healing is more beneficial then 2DR+fire retaliate. Also i was rarely under 50% endurance vs regular mob packs. 2. Did you use Draining Weapon or tried Dual Draining Weapon? (do they stack or work independly?) a. I used Mosquito(draining weapon) and Sword of Dyenasis rapiers for early game. Both buyable at the start of A2 (The first is in the Inn at Ondra's Gift, second floor, the second is in Dyrford, at the blacksmith), so you can have them easily and without fail (No RNG) once you passed Caer Nua. 3. What other items do you recommend and gear? a. Crit reduction belt. Full plate armor. ring of protection. Anything you can find with con. 4. Did you use summons? Hell ye 5. How did you manage to deal with Chain stuns/paralyze/disables for example? a. Your retaliate deals with them and thats also where healing from moon godlike comes very handy. 6. How was dragon solo fight. a. Didn't fight adra dragon on lvl 15. It is imho impossible for a barb to kill him. 7. What weapons you were using and recommend most? a. Rapiers, maces throughout the whole game. On end game boss, Aimoranet mace and Edge of Reason axe.
  17. Barb is meant to be played on the front line with your tank. High CON+draining weapon+carnage+one stands alone passive make barbs Guts from Berserk
