  1. Id max Might and split between Con and Resolve(concentrate bonus needed for casting) so my priest stays alive if things go bad. Sacrificing aoe range for durability is imho a worthy trade on Hard difficulty and up.

  4. I'll go with Rogue for mechanical skill bonuses and will split lore/stealth. Will also pump resolve to 14 and will boost it with +2 resolve armor enchant for dialogue options.

  7. As it stands, I'll probably just wait until the IE mod gets released before I even start playing. There's some really basic functions in it that just shouldn't be missing from the base game. I won't be removing Engagement, for example, but fixing the moving recovery rate, autosave before transitions, cyan NPC circles (seriously, this has to be one of the dumbest things, having neutrals and allies in the same colour for no reason whatsoever), etc. Before I even boot up the first game, the IE Mod will be there and I'll fix the Attributes myself if I can. After playing POE with IE Mod i second this. So many simple things that should be in from the start... Triple bow to Sensuki.
  8. You don't really need to spec in a specific weapon class with rogues. It only gives you +6 Acc. With Reckless Assault (modal)ability you get +8 acc and x1.2 dmg. Id put that point into something like two weapon fighting.
  9. Ok so hang on, Dex does not increase the speed of the reload animation? Why did devs have to make such a confusing stat system... If so, then for guns Might/Int is pretty much the optimal stat combo to go for. As for Melee rogues, id go for 20 Per. and 18 Dex and make him an interrupter.
  10. My rogue will be Dwarf - Pistoleer 20 Might, 18 Dex and rest are 10. With Gunner perk, reload hopefully won't be that long. Not sure tho if i should sacrifice a point and take Ruffian Weapon Specialization for +6 Acc with pistols.
  11. What skill detects traps? Stealth or Mechanics?
  12. Better visual representation of Auras and persistent/active character effects. So far imho, D2 is the only game that got that right. So for example, when i turn on Zealos Endurance Aura, i want some kind of visual representation of it on my char and party members.
  13. By choosing custom party in your 1st playthrough, you rob yourself of party banter that only premade NPCs have. Also Rogue, Barb and Monk are the only classes so far who will not have VO at release. So if you want as much banter as you can get, i suggest you start as one of the classes i listed.
  14. Yes you can. I just tried them all with a quarterstaff and they all did work. Weren't some of them unarmed only? <= Haven't played the Monk much None of them are unarmed only. Melee only, yes. But even abilities such as Stunning Blows, work with melee weapons.

  17. I like how combat was decently paced. Dungeon looked amazing and the VO was just right. What i noticed tho, is that alot of the companions had 2h weapons equiped. Hope they'll buff 1h weapons till release.
  18. Instead of a priest(i think druid END heals are more than enough) id pick a Paladin with his Auras and improved Lay on Hands. I also think Rogue is very helpful in a party firstly as a dungeon scout because of his class +1Stealth +2Mechanics and second as a ranged backstaber.

  20. For the fighter, id pick Dex to counter the heavy armor penalty. Id only put PER on a dual-wielding Light armor char like rogue/monk/chanter etc.
  21. /casting thread revive What you all think about Pistoleer Rogue ? Tried to build one with a Gunner perk and when Dex is fixed will pump it for extra 30% Action Speed. I was doing 30ish+ dmg grazes and 40-48 dmg normal hits with sneak attacks hitting my own lvl 4 fighter. Not to mention Finishing Blow can devastate a single dangerous target on a battlefield. Any advice/thought is highly welcome.
  22. Swift and Steady passive for Ranger that supposed to modify it with +5 accuracy, doesn't change a thing. After activating Swift Aim, the accuracy in my character sheet still droped by -7.
  23. Main PC - Barb with the biggest 2h weapon i can find. Gonna give him some stealth and Mechanics. Fighter - Sword&Board Paladin - maybe Chanter - Buffer Cipher - DeBuff specd Druid - Lightning
