1. When magic comes into play, it is best to throw realism out the window IMO. On PE with soul powers, it is plausible for a fighter to perform superhuman feats(such as cutting a giant in two or taking a fireball to the face without being incinerated) that are on par with what a Mage could do. 2. That is exactly what is going to happen in PE. Different classes are going to have different functions and be better in certain circumstances. You don't need a class to be considerably more powerful to accomplish that.

Fixed that for you. On Balance: Pretty much a non-issue for PE. Sawyer is designing the mechanics himself instead of adapting D&D into a RTwP game. From everything I've heard him say about classes, they will all have strengths and weakness, and the choice between a mage and (insert other class) will be a bit more nuanced than "Should I take a dude who hits **** with a sword or someone that can kill waves of foes with a fart?".

I don't think this is a very good idea. A UI is essential for me to play a Party-based RTwP RPG effectively. I agree. If I can't effectively play a RPG using only the mouse and spacebar, I get a bit frustrated.

I believe that roleplaying is the essential component in a RPG. I don't believe that the inclusion of stats and levels makes a game a RPG. To do this, I believe that the player has to have full control of the PC and know everything the PC knows. As to Choices and Consequence, while the latter is certainly nice, I believe that the former is all that is really needed.

I think it largely depends on what your goal is. I'm currently trying to lose about 20 pounds of winter weight, so my rest day involves light jogging. BTW, I've always preferred dumbbell lunges to barbell lunges. Then again, I typically prefer dumbells to barbells for everything except tricep workouts. YMMV.

I certainly don't. I don't mind the casting, but they damn sure didn't a **** job at character development. I find that to be the only way to watch most episodes of this season. Frankly, it has to be the worst yet. Maybe Doctor Who should feature more women in bikinis, that would be watchable.

I will put this as clearly as I can. 1. Most deniers like to point out that climate change(or evolution) is just a theory and is not proven to be true. 2. I stated something to the effect of "quantum mechanics are just as unproven as climate change", to show that something that is not explicitly proven is commonly accepted as fact, because it has the vast majority of scientific consensus behind it. I'm not claiming that science explicitly proves anything or that quantum mechanics are not true because they have not been proven. Yeah, it isn't like scientists have predicted the polar ice caps melting, thinning of the ozone layer, or increasingly erratic weather patterns. They've obviously been faking it for the past 20 years to force Americans into evil socialist habits like recycling and energy conservation. Maybe if we pretend poverty isn't a problem it will go away too.
