What are you Playing Now? Volume XIX: The New Beginning of the End of the Middle
It seems to be some strange bug with the two main quests - if you talk to one governor but not the other, then go to the mines to check out the ruins, all quest related npcs in New Serene disappear (even meaningless npcs like the two guards outside the governor's mansion, who are just there for the dialogue when you first arrive).

What are you Playing Now? Volume XIX: The New Beginning of the End of the Middle
I had to load a save about 6 hours earlier in Greedfall to get to an unbugged state. Ignored a couple of quests for now that others mentioned online bugging out or conflicting with the stage of the main quest I was on. Now I'll need to see if I can continue those or if it'll bug out again.

warhammer 40k: rogue trader
I don't know of any way. But I didn't have that problem - I played at a time when Argenta killed trash mobs faster than it would take to search for a mod and install it At least encounters don't respawn.

I find first person better for combat. The most important mod for me (besides no random dragons) is the alternate start one. It still allows you to get a rumour about Helfen and be the first to get there after it's destruction, and link into the main quest, but the different starts really help make your character yours.

Starcraft Miniature Wargame
Apparently coming sometime next year (aimed release date 31. March). Starter Box will have 12 Terran marines, 2 marauders, and 3 medics VS 24 zerglings, 3 roaches, and 1 queen. Protoss will get a faction starter with zealots, adepts, and a sentinel. Three phases, move, shooting, close combat. Each with alternate activations. Whoever finishes their activations first in a phase gets to go first in the next phase. Units have both point cost and supply. Points for list building, supply is the way of implementing unit cap - as the turns progress, the supply you can have on the table increases, so you can bring in more units. Seems OK rule-wise.

What are you Playing Now? Volume XIX: The New Beginning of the End of the Middle
Because of the imminent release of the StarCraft miniature wargame, I have started playing the original StarCraft. I had a bit of a disagreement with General Edmund Duke. Raynor and I said we need to stop the zerg from killing whole planets. Duke asked "But do you condemn the sons of Korhal?" We didn't. Now we are terrorists. Obviously now the zerg are trying to eat Duke, so we have to save him. We should have just sent him a message: " When the zerg came for Mar Sara, I did nothing because my villa wasn't on Mar Sara. When the zerg came for Chau Sara, I did nothing because my golf course was not on Chau Sara. When the zerg finally came for me, there was noone left to save me."

The second reply always creates weird body horror images where a person screws their lips up in such a way that they can kiss themselves...

What are you Playing Now? Volume XIX: The New Beginning of the End of the Middle
So, New Arc Line has about a dozen hours of content in Early Access. I had hoped for more. I tried a Voodoo Shaman to see the difference between tech and magic. Gameplay wise, tech characters gain abilities through their equipment. Every weapon has the attacks it allows the character to perform. Backpacks and other equipment may give other abilities - boots crafted for Steam Engineers for example give a rocket jump and a charge ability. Mage characters on the other hand craft additional spells and gain their abilities that way. There is a magic corruption system that isn't completely implemented yet. If the spells cast by a mage are more powerful than the regions magic level, the mage slowly gets corrupted and will gain mutations at certain thresholds. It will be interesting to see how that works out. Story wise, some npcs don't like you as much depending on your class. Some quests may have more objectives. During the main quest a mage player gets offered an alternate quest at some stage - it still links back into the next main quest just as if you had done the normal quest, but it offers a choice and that is nice. The game has some potential. All the devs need is for the war to stop so they can develop in peace.

What You've Done Today...or yesterday...or what you are doing RIGHT THIS MINUTE!!!
My newest low in experiences today was going for lunch, and as I got up to leave and was checking that I wasn't accidentally knocking into the guy seated behind me, my gaze swept across the screen of his phone just as someone was sending him a *short for Richard* pic. Men are pigs.
