  1. Not many games have such a good justification for their existence
  2. Finished my first playthrough of Loren the Amazon Princess. I am a bit ambivalent about the game. It is a turn based RPG meets visual novel. It took me a while to get used to either part. The Bad: Typos and other typing errors (a word typed twice) appear a bit too often for a game that focuses on story telling. Hypersexualized (apparently that is the word to describe them) characters can get a bit on your nerves and make you wonder what eactly you are playing at times A brainwashed player character and an unlikeable main npc (Loren - I want to slap her). Re-used background images. In the dlc quest, doing things out of order can lead to some dialogue triggering when it shouldn't. The Good: Romances are completly optional, mostly initiated by the PC and the romance choices are clearly labeled as such. The only flirting that is not initiated by the PC seems to be by an optional NPC, who teases the player to make them feel uncomfortable - so not romancy boohoo why don't you love me. The game tries to build in quite a few choices. Some of them even good. Personal quests for most party members (the 9 main ones, not the 4 dlc ones). Overall I had fun, but the game isn't for everyone.
  3. The Humble Store has a Spring Sale, including flash sales. For another 3 hours or so Saints Row IV is going dead cheap. (so are a lot of other games)
  4. There are two games that I know of with a similar mechanic, but probably neither is the one you're looking for: The Company of Myself The Swapper Life Goes On is the game you are looking for.
  5. I don't have a problem telling them It is a shame if people need to be under influence to create. But I have very specific people in mind with the comment you quoted. I have no understanding whatsoever for those who see getting extremly drunk as the only viable way of having fun.
  6. I regret paying that much Humanoid. But being a teetotaller myself at least I know that other people waste as much on alcohol instead of supporting creativity
  7. Sacred 3 is comming out later this year. Hope it's good.
  8. Fine. It was rather annoying though as I had been mostly in bed for the past 20 hours with the flu. When I woke up at around 4AM there was nothing to do. Steam being online would have allowed me to try to bother friends fom other time zones a bit more effectively
  9. You are just denying your true identity.
  10. I think you just proved us all to be zombies.
  11. Is the skeleton under my hair, flesh and muscle Undead? Skeletons that walk around are undead, right? So I guess so?
  12. Been down for a few hours too.
  13. That is pretty much the extend of bugs in the game right now. You should be fine. And the broken quests should only be trivial side quests.
  14. Thanks for the links
  15. Consortium and I are not getting along. Gameplay is a bit iffy. Need ten attempts for the locker to open. Getting stuck turning a corner. Trying to click something and nothing happens until attempt 20. Click a button to lower some stairs, but the button is positioned in such a way that if you click it the stairs lower on top of you getting you permanently stuck (button obviously can't be re-clicked while you are stuck). etc etc. So while storywise it seems interesting, I do not know if I'll be able to play it :/
  16. Reading the arguments on the Defiance forum about the announced F2P change (from B2P). Fun fun fun
  17. And when considering how much sex the books have and how much the HBO series, that quote sounds so wrong...
  18. Is there a source on that? Seems very popular and Steam seems to have gotten a lot of Indie game sales because of it. The internet has a tendency to pronounce things dead. Especially the gaming community. Just take PC gaming. I hope when I get pronounced dead, I'll be as dead as PC gaming
  19. Finished the beta demo build of Arcadecraft. Now to wait for release.
  20. Already voted for it anyway. But if you feel uncomfortable linking to it, let me know I'll spam the link
  21. The art and the rhymes are what attracted me to the game
  22. Play some more when you get back from work. I'd like to hear some impressions. It is deffinitly on my wishlist.
  23. A friend from school could use some votes on Greenlight if anyone would be up to clicking a quick "Yes". You should also feel free to decide that you are interested in the game and click "Yes" for that reason http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=93006822
  24. I have heard great things about Consortium: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=VsIDEMP3YYY It is on 40% sale on Steam but also the Humble Store. Which for us europeans, what with regional pricing, means it is actually cheaper on thehumble store and part of the money goes to charity.
