  1. That said. This time, screenshots with title: The Next Penelope - fun indy racing game in which Penelope searches space for Ulysses after Poseidon destroyed Ithaka and blackmails her into doing his dirty work for him. Suitors are annoying pests who, in their own space ships, race after her and try to impress her / stop her from leaving without marrying them etc. Face mythological creatures that may have nothing to do with the Ulysses: And use funky abilities such as short range teleportation
  2. I don't play Linux. Honestly those last screenies weren't from anything anyone plays anymore. City of Heroes/Villains. While Keyrock's were from the Talos Principle, Road to Gehenna DLC.
  3. After the pilot the TV series took a nosedive when it comes to writing quality. It only picked back up in season 3. If you need anything though, let me know. On PC EU I am EGO 4000+ on PC US just 1000something. Wait, Season 3 is already out? Episode 11 comming out on Friday I think.

  5. Didn't enjoy the first game. Realized I basically don't like Larian games. So not going to back it, but hope the people who do enjoy their games will have fun with it.
  6. thanks. Explains why it takes ages to get cards
  7. Good, since I already am going to become a billionaire to make Alpha Protocol 2. It is good to know someone else is taking care of Alpha Centauri.
  8. Bah, XCOM 2 looks actually interesting setting wise. I want to play it :/
  9. I did Judo for a while. But, I am scared of it. There is that moment as you are falling where you have just enough time to realize that you messed up and will connect with the ground right about...now. It is just enough time for me to get absolutely terrified. So I quit judo and started muay thai. I am rather bad at it. But I enjoy it. And I am not scared of it. Yes, you can get hurt. The difference is, you never have time to prepare for it. The pain comes and then you notice you messed up. That I can handle. I used to think I was just a wuss. But once I noticed that the more punchy (kicky, kneey and elbowy) stuff didn't scare me, I now wonder if I am perhaps just a control freak and that moment of falling is the moment of completly losing control. And yeah, when I did Judo, the room next to ours as the wrestling class. So you had two rooms with boys and men grapling on the ground in quite different ways
  10. Not bad thinking. Probably be more expensive next year than this year. Though next year will probably not be as expensive as last year.
  11. There isn't yet. And I am looking for a place to start exercising myself. Was thinking Krav Maga.
  12. Tourism has been hit quite hard this summer. With capital control people are a bit worried about comming to Greece it seems. The UK going out an saying that they have emergency rescue plans to evacuate their citizens should they find themselves without access to money didn't help. Though honestly, how sick is that? At the same time as the massacre in Tunisia, they talk about financial evacuation plans? *sigh* Mostly it means though that the last minute bookings for July/August were lost and September is extremly slow going compared to last year. People who planned their holliday months ahead kept their plans mostly it seems. But with capital controls it also means that restaurants etc can't pay their suppliers, so especially on islands they need to reduce their opening time to stretch supplies. We'll see how that will affect people's impression. But with other mediteranean destinations either dangerous or being Turkey (with their bombing of the kurds), Greece will recover despite being run by Greeks And no I don't think you have shared that story.
  13. Got an email from a french lady inquiring about a room. Does it have air conditioning. What are the windows like (I wonder what dungeons people have ended up staying in for them to worry about windows). But most importantly she had heard the neighbourhood was loud. I replied to her that especially on Fridays the area is really loud. That Saturdays and Sundays can be very lively as well. But that as the architect I did everything I could to mitigate the noise, and that from what I have been told so far, people have been sleeping very well. Got a reply back that she'd like to confirm the booking because she likes the photos and because she appreciates the honest reply. Score one for honesty
  14. Mod includes the alternate music mod? IUf there is no option to use the mod without it I'll pass. I don't like other people deciding for me on these little things.
  15. I remember Dragon Age had a nude mod that really improved the skin textures of characters while they were dressed. When Return to Ostagar came out and you found the naked remains of the prince, that made for an interesting scene for anyone who had completly forgotten what a nude mod does
  16. Best of luck. Alcoholism in the family is tough for everyone.
  17. So they showed up and they like the place. But of course nothing can be simple. They were at a different Hotel when they called me. Their luggage hadn't arrived on their flight from Crete. The hotel had a name that promised a certain view. The name suggested they'd be lounging at the beach. The Hotel wasn't in view of the promised view. The area around the hotel had nothing to do. So they were sitting in a hotel that didn't provide them what had been promised, without their luggage or anything to do, only to find out that the wifi was spotty as well. Which explains why they called me after 1AM But yesterday their luggage had still not arrived. So they felt bad about leaving the Hotel when their luggage would be delivered there. They ended up comming to me today, for 4 nights instead of the 5. Their luggage is still missing
  18. I would say because both are terms that describe a broad field. Sport is well, sport. It isn't a plural of disciplines. You have football and track. Both are a discipline or kind of sport, but you don't have two sports, you have two disciplines. Maths is just short for mathematics. Mathematics includes many different fields such as algebra and trigonometry, but you don't have one mathematic and another mathematic equals two mathematics.
  19. Finally open for business and I hit right the beginning of capital control in Greece. All bookings I had got cancelled. So invited a couple of friends over today for pizza and board gaming. We were playing Sentinels Tactics and my raptor bot was chewing up Baron Blade when the phone started ringing in the basement (at 01:10AM). I ran into the house, into the basement and reached the phone just as it forwarded the call to my mobile - which obviously was still lying in the garden next to my raptor bot. So I ran back up, stared at the number and called them back. A lady explained to me that her booking wasn't going through and she'd like to confirm that her party of 9 would have a place to stay the next day. Five nights. Hope they show up. Guess I'll know in eight hours or so.
  20. I had a lot of fun healing in PvP in SWTOR the first few months. And I had a lot of fun healing in Champions Online. Talk about bad players. Party in the instance split up and rushed two different rooms. Had to run from one room to the other and back trying frantically to get enough heals in to keep them alive. Guess who I did not team with again
  21. I never could understand how dpsing works. Or tanking. Healing on the other hand is easy. Look at health bars and make sure they don't go down. Ok, in PvP you should add looking at what is happening to anticipate damage spikes to the todo list. But overall I find healing the easiest. You can ignore most of the bothersome stuff going on and just concentrate on your job. In the end I guess different people have different perception or way to focus and that makes different types of info easier for them to filter.
  22. I don't know. Last time I was around more than a handfull of people was just fine without any issues. But to be honest I hadn't played in ages and haven't kept up with what they claim to have fixed and what not.
