  1. The little I saw so far, they are doing interesting things with visuals. It is the PC who is dull. I hope that they just haven't added that part yet
  2. What do you mean with lack of character creation options? The visuals? Then yes I agree, the current character looks boring. If you mean the skills/class creation, I quite enjoyed it. Especially encountering the Folk.
  3. I only finished character creation so far. I am a Clever Jack, apparently most attuned to Inigo and Gold.
  4. They have a respawn timer?
  5. i still have to download half. I finished downloading so will look at it later.
  6. Off to play my weekly blood bowl match (with miniatourez)
  7. They had thought Melkathi had stopped posting screenshots. They had thought they were safe. Little did they know that he had only been out of town several days.
  8. Play the game. Just be warned if you try the story missions Act 1 for Sisters of Sigmar I mostly enjoyed. The missions were a bit long-winded but could be done even on the first attempt. Though it ended in Act 1 - 4; the Library is the most hated map in the game. Probably the reason why a lot of people don't finish act 1 Still, up to then, the campaign seems to demand two things of the player: proper use of skills, and a bit of patience searching the map. For example the Sister npc who joins you for story missions has the Penitence spell. It prevents an enemy from using counter attacks. The hard part of missions 1-1 to 1-3 are the enemy Impressives. If you move carefully and cast Penitence on them, then your sisters can get a round of attacks in without retaliation. The Cult of the Possessed caster who joins in their missions has a spell that reduces enemy Offense points. If you use it, the Bloodletters in the barracks are hard but manageable. If you don't... But while the other maps are too large, the Library is a maze with colour coded portals. And for many warbands the first encounter with daemons, which the player may be woefully unprepared for at the time. So it becomes a frustrating exercise of trying to remember who has which quest item to go through what portal. In Act 2 they add environmental debuffs and damage, and half the time you are trying to gather quest items while being attacked by enemies who can only be killed if you find the quest items (on a huge map of course). But! My Comet's Daughters have gone on approx 200 missions. 8 of those were story missions (10 if you count the two failed attempts at 2-1). So while I rage against the campaign, it really is a minor part of the game.
  9. Yeah, resolution does nothing for load times. Campaign maps load real fast since those aren't random. Finished the Sisters of Sigmar Campaign. I like the game. But the campaign missions I loath. The maps are too large while having you run around too much to gather the item that you use to trigger the effect to proceed the mission to run back and... they are more tedious than hard. And if you do not know what will happen in the mission, because you haven't read up on it, then chances are you will run in the wrong direction, not knowing that you should have ran in the other. Then the casualties will start heaping up and you'll fail. You'll try again and do things right (though still tedious). But the first time you wont have failed because of a mistake, but because you spend an hour trying to figure out what was being asked of you.
  10. For Leferd https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLX3Lrcp0eZlxDDCt-yK9j4fuiy3ct83ej (will add more videos to the playlist later)
  11. Started the last story mission for Sisters of Sigmar. God this is boring. Charged Bertha (the story NPC) into certain death so the mission would fail and I could get on with my life.
  12. Shadowrun Chronicles may not be anything special, but to get Bedlam instead? Enjoy Satellite Reign though. It is a good game. Fantastic atmosphere.
  13. They have said so in some interviews In response to chill`s comment abou cdproject red devs and piracy. Posting from phone is annoying
  14. Novice Elyris went down this fight and barely survived. She lost an arm. She has a nasty Chest Wound. But considering all the crap she has been through and lived, she is now also a Megalomaniac. This brings her list of injuries to: Broken Jaw (-1 Leadership / -5% Spellcasting) Burst Eardrum (-25% Perception) Chest Wound (-1 Toughness) Chest Wound Light Wound Light Wound Light Wound Megalomania (No ranged weapons, Spellcasting costs extra offensive points) Severed Arm (no climbing, no holding two-handed weapons (who would have thought), but +20% Dodge) Severed Leg (-1 Move, no Climbing again, Jump Down and Leap - 25% success) Skull Fracture (Must pass int test outside combat to perform actions)
  15. I'll upload more Freedom News clips as I watch the show
  16. Watching this and thinking of XCOM 2
  17. I thought the skirmish against the skaven would be easy. My augur and one sister split from the main warband to collect wyrdstone, while the rest of the girls were going to engage the ratmen in the alleyways. The plan was good. Ok, maybe not good, but ok. It should have worked. Skaven 1 charges a novice. crits, stuns her. She gets swarmed and taken out in round one. The rat ogre charges my Maiden. She avoids all his attacks and proceeds to beat it near senseless. Things are looking up! Rat ogre swipes back, stuns her and claws her to within an inch of her life. Matriarch tries to bless the girls and turn the tides in the main melee. She fails to channel the winds of magic and drops to her knees stunned. Purifier tries to burn the rat ogre from afar. She succeeds, but visions of the warp nearly break her mind. She too drops to the ground. Somehow I won. Not sure how. But my megalomaniac novice paid the price: two fingers off her right hand.
  18. It has a great soundtrack at the very least.
  19. Jealous of what? I enjoy Beagle's videos since he actually knows how to play XCOM and therefor can showcase features and possibilities. I enjoy Quill's videos because he is a nice guy. I dislike TB's because the only discerning feature of his vids is his accent, while info-wise I get nothing out of them (don't get anything accent wise out of it either, as I got my own British accent ). I think it is clever that he makes a point of not knowing the games he plays - makes it easy for fans to defend him. The thing I really can't watch though are Angry Joe videos. That I really am not the target audience for.
  20. Deus Ex: Missing Link DLC. Can't remember any other.
  21. The Mordheim Screenshots you have all been waiting for!
  22. Don't care much for TB personally.
  23. I ended up watching his Live and Legendary video on youtube, as that is a more manageable length
