They have been messing around with it. Used to be that you could choose. Then they made it auto-add. Then people complained and they changed it back. No idea what it is like now.

'O_O' Oh god, what an embarrassing typo. thanks for pointing it out!

And it's a 35GB patch I hear

I keep out of the Pillars forum as I don't really play the game, so have nothing to say about it. I keep out of the off topic as there are too many political discussions, and with the Greek financial crisis too many people had opinions about a situation I am living through and like to not think of when on a gaming forum, and don't like to read sadly ignorant opinions about. (and a lot of right-wing ranting) I stick around this part because it is safe and people accept the fact that I'll post Mordheim screenshots. And I know people here well enough that I can use their opinions on games to make educated guesses at what would interest me.

Ideally both words have to work as opposites to the two parts of your username respectively. Or at least opposites in the way I understand them when in a funky mood. Alternatively the changed part needs to create the feeling of opposite for the new whole (a friend at uni named Farshad became Nearshad for example - a joke only one person in our course appreciated, and it wasn't him )

You managed to do something I haven't. No one has told me they have me on their ignore list Years and years of practicing trolling and arguing online, and then I come here and it's all for naught. But you are now in the illustrious company of such renames as Yesnek and Burglercat. Edit: I have not yet decided if katphood should become dogdrink or dogdiet or hungerdog.

I tried playing Exoplanet: First Contact in hopes of getting some great screenshots for people here. But the game is still very early in Early Access and crashes a lot. So instead of playing I started thinking and decided I'll be calling SonicMage here the FuzDohRaHedgehog from now on.

Jotun apparently is also free on GOG
-
Not a sale, but you can get Jotun for free on Steam right now. Jotun was played by Keyrock and many screenshots were posted to this forum.

I used to hang out in the Way Off Topic. I even have oby on my ignore list to prove it

I don't think I have ever seen those people. I take it they only post in the sections dedicated to obsidian games I don't play (anything other than Alpha Protocol) ?

Makes you wonder how many sprites have gotten restraining orders for Keyrock.

Bah, reached the most annoying part of any game in Rites of War. When a unit levels up and you need to decide what to train them as The Mime that leveled up was easy: there was no choice he just turned into a Harlequin. And once the Harlequin levels up I really want a Death Jester. Now a Guardian leveled up though and the choices are Dire Avenger (have 1 so far), Fire Dragon (have 2), Striking Scorpion (have 2), or Swooping Hawk (have 1). The Swooping Hawk is the best value for money, costing the most to recruit. The Fire Dragons are some of the most useful troops but slow. Scorpions are great but I also have Harlequins/Mimes for melee. Dire Avenger would just be an upgrade to the Guardian's previous basic infantry role. Decisions, decisions...

Sadly the Tau game was rather bad. Firewarrior? Then again Tau got added after my time.

I'm playing Rites of War...

I haven't played Undertale. It is on my wishlist, but my backlog is so huge. So my guess is as good as yours

I couldn't agree more, reminds me of that one time during mothers day where a forced video compilation of 'good moms' was shown to me. I read the comment section and the first comment? 'Click the like button if your mom wasn't a tattooed freak.' ... People just hate stuff as if their life depended on it. Click the like button if your mom is a tattooed freak! (Mine isn't but I had to check that the button works)

Let us know how OneShot works out for you

They both have dungeon in the name but are very different kind of games I guess

Luckily for me the check-out keeps crashing on me, so I can't spend money

I don't know about Desktop Dungeon, but I find the difficulty on Darkest dungeon is part of its appeal. Desktop Dungeon is more of a puzzle experience - trying to solve the math problem of how to most efficiently kill monsters and gain xp. You feel great for succeeding, but it is very frustrating when you just can't find a winning strategy for a quest.
-
I started Desktop Dungeon again. But I am finding the hard difficulty missions so frustratingly hard

Just noticed that the steam list has rebel galaxy twice- 487 replies

I still don't get why being in a chat removes the ability to post a decent opening post for a thread

The Great Game Giveaway: Tuesday Edition

I looked it up in the Steam store. Not really something I was going to ask for. But I am not one for yelling, not one for party games, and I don't own a HTC Vive- 487 replies
