  1. I think I also have one of those for steam
  2. The stuff we carried was worth a whole lot more alcohol than the alcohol we ditched.
  3. I missed a Warning: (also got other screenshots to post, but don't want to spam too much )
  4. For those who care about the exploits of our crawlers: After having been assigned liaisons for Aurora Starliners and shortly afterwards Gray Solutions (mostly because they found us a valuable purveyor of Boomslang inside information after we raided several facilities of the later), Astrohund Technologies also assigned us a contract liaison. This move was then echoed by Dablue Yutaki (who's founder in a quirky 4th Wall breaking way I am also friends with on Steam) and FoxKin Armory. Then, just now, GalaxyMart, owner of a lot of those Borderlands style vending machines, has also assigned us a liaison who now approved us for loyalty points and discounts. Yay Dablue Yutaki also asked us to hit their competition in the world of corporate security contracts by raiding high priority targets and intentionally triggering the signal for the Paladin armed response. We did that once. It was a long and fairly tough fight. Labadal and Hurlshot both took quite the beating. But we came out of the raid victorious, and with more loot than we could carry. In fact we had to ditch stuff, and mostly ditched the alcohol we had found in the various offices; when Emer LT's reinforcements arrived we were long gone and all they found were a lot of bottles of grog and rum.
  5. We interrupt the usual posting of inter-crawler banter to bring you some public service announcements: And remember:
  6. Have you got a larger ship yet?
  7. Hmmm, Red Faction: Guerilla. Could try a replay of that sometime. If they fixed the whole "windows live" thing.
  8. Now we know Tigranes' name. There is power in a name. *wanders off to the voodoo supply store*
  9. Anything Mass Effect after ME2.
  10. I gave up on Final Fantasy games a long while ago. Some day I'll manage to play 8. But those after that? Meh. I finished XCOM 2 once. It was OK for one run through. I can't bring myself to play again. Battle Brothers is actually on my wishlist The list of games I wouldn't touch is too long to write here
  11. On another note, we turned down an offer to get recruited into Ragnarok. The name just set off too many warning bells. And there is no way to save load a different decision because just before that decision came up, the_dog_days got a legendary shotgun: Chilling Engineer's Siyama Thudgun Of The Stormlord
  12. Yeah, that gameboy video confused me and I thought I was in the wrong thread as well at first
  13. In other Crawler news, the Obsidian Crew has come to an arrangement with the Accord. We aren't taking on contracts that would target Accord members in exchange for Accord sponsorship. So far that has helped them more than us, especially as all the dirt we acquired on the UFP has so far been purchased by Gray Pharmaceuticals instead of Accord members.
  14. Because katphood brought up gameboy games:
  15. Great katphood, now I'll be humming Gargoyle's Quest's soundtrack all day.
  16. Nah, he is alive and kicking. Though mostly when he kicks stuff, it triggers some kind of explosive device or upsets a nest of space vermin or.... But the game allows for 4 man teams and I have 8 characters, so I rotate them around. He did get close though. Very close. Only crawler to drop to double digit HPs so far. Also only crawler to drop to single digit HPs
  17. And a new installment of StarCrawlers (powered by Shadysands' Great Game Fiveaway) Sorophx is The Juggernaut! OK, he Hurlshoted it there at the end. * to hurlshot: term used by the Obsidian StarCrawlers team to describe bad luck when trying to do a simple thing.
  18. He meant Cossacks wasn't popular in the west
  19. Marelooke mugs monsters Yeah, not sure that is worth anything... Maybe we can store the lint in this? I don't know if "authentic" goes with that spelling. yeah, now you are getting the hang of this, marelooke!
  20. If you like adventure games this then is a good opportunity to play one of the classics. It really deserved all the praise. And it is the only computer game which will create lasting associations in your real life. There is no one who played Full throttle who doesn't think of Maureen when they smell asphalt.
  21. Hurlshot must be the unluckiest crawler in the game. First mission on the team, Hurlshot grabs a hatch, rips it open and... is swarmed by space mite. Then the team finds a crate full of spare parts, everyone sifts through it. We decide to take it along and Hurlshot grabs the crate... and gets a spike driven through one arm. Next mission Labadal fails to hack security and three turrets pop out of the floor. Who do they shoot? So we head into an abandoned mine. There is a container. In the past we have found valuable minerals and gems in similar ones. Hurlshot lifts the container and it starts beeping. Of course Hurlshot got the containers that had mining explosives. And of course Hurlshot triggered them. And not just once. Luckily the_dog_days managed to disarm them each time before Hurlshot could get blown up.
