My assassin is immune to Melee and has Shadowstep, so she doesn't trigger overwatch shots :/ She is weak to attacks from Reapers and she is "Bewildered" so takes increased damage from 3+ attacks in one turn. -
I have one overly aggressive grenadier who has a chance of firing normally when set to overwatch. I have a compulsive reloader who may just decide to reload as her second action if her magazine isn't full. And I have a phobophobic sniper who has a chance to panic when others around him panic.

Who was your initial Chosen? Is it always the Assassin? Because mine was not weak to explosions

Central Bradford turns out to be the Donald Trump of XCOM... Reaper accuses a Skirmisher of having lead death squads that wiped out human settlements in the region. Bradford's comment: "I am sure there was violence on both sides."

They released it in advance of XCOM2. It is OK. If you are a fan of the game it's worth reading, as it sets up the scene for the start of the game. You won't be amazed by it, but you will enjoy it. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/25759278-xcom-2

Started War Of The chosen as well. Seems a little less optimized than the base game, and I see complaints about poor performance and crashes in the steam forum. Bonded a first fire-team. A second pair of soldiers is ready to bond as well, but their compatibility isn't the highest, so not sure if I should. Wish there was a manual to better explain things than the in-game pop-up. New maps are neat, even if creating silly situations where the skyranger flies into tunnels to pick you up Some of the new mission scenarios are also pretty nifty. The Lost work great. Though apparently they ignore advent (or so I hear). Having read the novel, I am glad to see the lost added. Some of the world building that had been in the novel was sorely missing from the base game.
Not playing XCOM 2 because I left the PC to download the 30GB patch while I was out for lunch, but absentmindedly turned the PC off
Apparently there was backlash about the ARENA An Age Of Barbarians Story trailer, so the devs released a new, censored version. It still has the gore and dismemberment, but they cut the nudity

Have unlocked all four truths in Stories. I guess I am now at a point where I could find the right path to win the game. But I kinda hope I'll miss it so I can see the other endings
Anything written by the awesome dude going as melkathi Dune I always wanted to see as an RPG. But the prequel novels crimes have put me off. Now I want nobody to touch the IP out of fear that Brian Herbert would influence the game and turn it into garbage. I would have liked Metro 2033 to be turned into a strategy/management game, where you have a small group of survivors in a metro station and have to run that, trade with other stations, send out scavenger groups etc.

Fought some skaven in a deadly difficulty mission. Got luckyish (also mad skillz) and beat them easier than most other missions I have played.
We played some Red Dragon Inn the last few days at our local friendly games store. I lost all games. Once I ran out of cash and got kicked out of the inn. Twice I got drunk and passed out. Though of course that was a board game with real people around a real table, so not sure it counts for this thread But I did have fun
