    Having a real good laugh playing Stories: The Path Of Destiny. Really enjoying the writing.

    Fought some skaven in a deadly difficulty mission. Got luckyish (also mad skillz) and beat them easier than most other missions I have played.

    We played some Red Dragon Inn the last few days at our local friendly games store. I lost all games. Once I ran out of cash and got kicked out of the inn. Twice I got drunk and passed out. Though of course that was a board game with real people around a real table, so not sure it counts for this thread But I did have fun

    Kinda disappointed that keyrock plays a game I am not interested in, and in turn the screenshots. Not used to this.

    Great game, with a terrible bit after the last boss fight that had several players give up on the game.

    I did, after getting used to it, enjoy Borderlands a lot. Not all of the writing, but most of the game. Borderlands 2 I got bored.

    Is that by King Arts ? I rather enjoyed The Dwarves, so I'll give a new game by them a chance.

    It also has some truly cringe worthy writing. Especially if you give in to curiosity and check out the romances.

    Finished the Age of Wonders 3 Frostling campaign. Sided with the Frostlings.

    It is AoW3. Not a game for everyone. It did a lot of things right for those of us who loved AoW, AoW2 and AoW:SM.

    Yeah, I couldn't force myself through the first one, not touching 2 with a barge pole.

    Yet another siege defended. Adventuring at high sea. Building a castle at the edge of the map. Let's see people try conquer that.

    Finished the Halfling mini campaign in Age of Wonders 3. It was underwhelming, partly because the last mission was extremely easy, partly because it ended just as you were getting a hint of there being an actual story. The voice actor I did not like at all. But it was Age of Wonders, so the overall experience was still fun. Started the Frostling campaign yesterday and, while the first mission is uncharacteristically easy for AoW, it is doing so many things better already. And Melenis (though mentioned in the Halfling campaign) playing a major role is also great - returning a side character from the first game like that and fleshing her out.

    Playing the single player campaign of the first Age of Wonders 3 expansion (the Halfling one). Am on mission 2 and at that point in a mission when you have basically won but it will take hours to finish it. The AI had been attacking me with Glutton doom stacks (the devs had said they reduced stack size from 8 to 6 to prevent tier 4 unit stacks of doom, but the AI adapted and send multiple stacks instead ). Once I managed to "liberate" all Naga dwellings that stopped. And resurrecting the opponent's Gluttons helped a lot. Now I have huge armies of Eldritch Horrors, an army with more tentacles than Cthulhu wearing a Day Of The Tentacles shirt while watching tentacle porn. The AI is stacking defenders in all their cities, so it's slow going.

    Yeah, I nearly did an all nighter with Age of Wonders 3 the other day/night.

    Choices are good for an Obsidian game, though the ultimata set by npcs "Don't be friends with them or we won't be friends with you anymore" do at times stray towards the childish. I uninstalled yesterday as I realized I will not do a second playthrough.
