It's so hard to keep up with abbreviations. HP is a printer and a boy that lived. DOS is both a game with bad writing and a disk operating system. AC is both a game series with jumping off rooftops and silly genetic memory and a technology to keep yourself cool in summer.

Shining Forces? Awesome! One of my favorite franchises that is entirely dead in the west. I remember being really jealous of a friend and his Mega Drive when we were at school. Over two decades later I am saying NO MORE! I am doing what I always wanted to do mum. You can't stop me now! (I had a gameboy and a 386. So I was playing Final Fantasy Legend II, Civ, Dune 2, Indy and the Fate of Atlantis, Day of the Tentacle, Monkey Island 1 & 2, Eric the Unready, Starcon 2... but not Shining Force! Guess what I obviously wanted to play )

In my game the Academy quest spawned the nodes right in the territory of two factions that chose the opposite side in the quest than I. Problem: one of them was a member of my alliance, so our fleets simply blocked each other's progress and the quest that sat there. Completion of the quest would have meant breaking the alliance. Trying to start a Vaulter playthrough, but never happy with my start.

I vote the Batman game you haven't played. Or ASCO. nobody should be forced back into a boring game.

Also having a history of testing for them (sadly not ES2. After the first two early builds I had no spare time for proper testing ), I have a lot of faith in them having every intention to do what they say they'll do.

And Endless Space has the most beautiful faction ever. Ask Horatio. He is the most wise, he would know.

And in a parallel universe to Fenixp the Vodyani were abducting my population: (funily enough, we have pretty much the same alliance. The Unfallen asked my Riftborn to ally with them, then allied with the Horatio against the Cravers. The Horatio loved that as they were worried about my fleets pacifying pirates in the no-mans-land between our sectors. Then I added the Sophons to add pressure on the Vodyani.)

I think I may have been playing "just one more turn" of Endless Space 2 for the past 4 hours
