No hurry on trading AD. Also,
-
It's co-developed by Valve and Hidden Path. As for who did the bulk of the development, I don't know.
-
That's where we differ. I like the power differences between characters rather than having everybody on some artificial equal playing field, even if I was playing the weaker character. Of course, that's me now. Me 15 years ago would be pissed to play the significantly weaker character. To each their own. This is why I like to let my players decide if I'm GMing. I don't assume they think like I do.

2008 - Left 4 Dead 2009 - Left 4 Dead 2 2010 - Alien Swarm 2011 - Portal 2 2012 - Counter Strike: Global Offensive 2013 - DOTA 2 Still waiting for that year they "don't release something".

But what do you use massive financial success to do as a game developer? Make bigger and better games, typically. Unless they've just continually scrapped builds for Half Life 3, it's hard to tell what they're actually working on. They have enough money to hire staff beyond the people who keep DotA 2 and Steam running. It's not like Valve has just been sitting on their hands. Beyond Steam and DOTA 2 recently there has been Portal 2 and Counter Strike: GO, oh, and that little thing of building their own operating system Linux distribution and gaming console/PC hybrid, a trivial matter, I'm sure. Valve has their hands in a lot of different projects. Would I like to see Half-Life 3? Sure, but if it never happens then oh well, life goes on, Valve will go on (for at least the foreseeable future).

Last time I checked, Valve is doing just fine. They're making money hand over fist off Steam, DOTA 2 is a rousing success, and they're still suckering people into buying stuff with hats for Team Fortress 2. STILL. Face it, Valve doesn't need Half-Life 3.

Can you even trade AD between players? The way I do it between characters is by making a purchase bid for Zen at the exchange at 50 AD per Zen (no one will sell me Zen for 50 AD a piece, then I cancel and withdraw it with the character I want to give it to. Don't worry about it if this is going to be a pain in the butt. Edit: Also, if you need any Greater Marks of Power, Union, or Stability, let me know, I have a bunch.

I've seen a manual on AH before, so I don't think they're BoP, but definitely read the description before purchasing. Thank you, by the way. Edit: Crap, according to the wiki the manual is bind on pick up, so never mind.
-
Well... It's really expensive (around 2 million, I think) but I want to get the training manual to upgrade my Blue Ribbon Pig (clearly the champion of pigs) mount to rank 3. I've already upgraded the pig to rank 2 and it's utterly hilarious to watch those stubby little pig legs churn while I'm zipping along at +80% speed. It's going to be even better at +110%.

You can also summon a hellhound pet (you can have both pets active at the same time) from a bit deeper in the Occultist Mastery, so you have that to look forward to. Pyromancer (Demolitionist/Occultist) is so far my favorite mastery combination. Who wouldn't want to summon pets and lob molotovs?

How many Acts are there supposed to be, 3?Summer would be a good time, actually. I like monster-bashing in the summer. I'm not completely sure how answer this question other than to say "more than 2". Read this.

I don't know how many cards I've sold, but I've gotten 3 free games out of the deal and have about a buck and a half sitting in my Steam Wallet (I've never transferred a single penny of my own real money into my Steam Wallet). I don't know who all these people buying these cards are, but I'm thankful for them. The most I ever got for any single card was about $0.65.
-
Yes, but burritos.

Thunder lost their second straight without #FullSquad. Second game in a row they've blown 4th quarter leads. Not a huge deal though, they will go through growing pains with the young guys stepping in in Russ' absence. I'm happy Scotty Brooks is continuing to give them plenty of minutes and Durant keeps feeding them the ball rather than just trying to do everything himself.
-
Nah, the second act will be here soon, 4 of the 5 masteries are already here, I think the full game will be out by summer, if not sooner.

The Cutler deal puts the Bears in a similar hostage situation to the one the Cowboys were put into when they gave Romo the deal (The Cowboys have an even worse hostage situation going on called Jerry Jones on top of that). There are a lot of similarities here. Neither Romo nor Cutler is a franchise quarterback, but neither is a bad quarterback either. They're both a bit above average overall. Both will savagely murder their own team a couple times a year and both will heroically win a couple games a year for their team. It's a crappy situation for the teams because both QBs will get their team enough Ws so they won't get a high draft pick, but they're not winning a championship with either QB unless the rest of the team is terrific. They're very unlikely to get a better QB with a middling draft pick (unless they find a diamond in the rough) and they're very unlikely to find a better QB in free agency. I guess what I'm trying to say is welcome to perpetual mediocrity, Chicago.

Every ten levels makes the percentage of a booster drop rise. Cool. Now I know that level has at least some practical value, since I can sell the cards in the booster, or the booster itself.
-
I don't even know what level I am. What do the levels mean, if anything besides ePeen size?

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - I prefer the traditional metroidvania style Castlevanias but I needed a break from RPGs and was hankering for some God of War type action. It's not usually my type of game, but once in a while I like to play a game like that. It helps that Lords of Shadow is extremely pretty to look at and that there is a good bit of climbing and jumping to break up the brawling.

It's cool. I'm pretty sure the vast majority of us backers share your view point, though likely with not as much gusto. It's just that we've been repeatedly been assured that the game is being built with specifically and only PC in mind and everything we've been shown supports that. Your reaction was just so strong and over the top that it was hard not to poke fun at it.

I was tempted to make a joke about how I wouldn't play that game again even if GabeN paid me to, but I'm too classy for that.
