  1. Filming in portrait I take it this is a RTS of some sort?
  2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzgAhPffWsM Yikes
  3. Keyrock I may be missing something but it seems to me you don't want us to discuss Bioware anymore..if thats the case then just say so. I prefer brutal honesty I get that stuff in Random Video Game News will go off on tangents, that happens, but it's usually 3 or 4 posts, then we get back to game news. This has gone on for multiple pages now. Look, I've been a member of this forum for 2 1/2 years and in my time here this argument has happened at least a dozen times, likely a lot more. I've even engaged in it once or twice in the past. I could understand if someone new had initiated this and there was a fresh perspective, but this is literally the same exact argument involving the same exact people as has been had time and time and time again. Frankly, it's ****ing annoying.
  4. Steam Machines and the Steam Controller are now listed on Steam. They won't be available until November.
  5. Would it be possible to please **** off with BioWare Fanboys vs BioWare Haterz Part 875,027,213,435, or at least can you take it to a BioWare game thread? Can we get back to Random Video Game News in this thread? So there's a new Rock Band game coming out. I wonder if music games can make a comeback?
  6. Will it be as absurdly expensive as the predecessor? If it comes in at $999 like the previous Titans that actually won't be that bad, considering the utterly absurd specs on it. I wouldn't be surprised if it was in the $1200-$1500 region. Top of the line cards are usually rather overpriced.
  7. More Pier Solar and the Great Architects. The combat is pretty uninspired so far, granted I'm early in so I have barebones abilities, but the story and characters have me interested and wanting to continue playing.
  8. Nvidia just surprised everybody by pre-announcing (the full announcement will come soon) the Titan X http://www.tomshardware.com/news/nvidia-geforce-gtx-titan-x,28694.html A whopping 12 GB vRAM and 8 billion transistors. If this is indeed a single GPU card then this is an INSANE monster of a card.
  9. Presumably the final Steam Controller design Available November (I imagine that this is when "official" Steam Machines will also become available) for $49.99. I won't lie, I want to caress those trackpads with my fingers (possibly other body parts too ).
  10. Benito Mussolini DLC. Make it happen, Machine Games!
  11. Damien makes a point to say how that is not running at max settings (possibly a dig at the downgraded graphics rumor). Jen-Hsun makes some cringeworthy "I think that's Polish for..." jokes. I'm kinda disappointed he didn't go for a screendoor on a submarine joke. Anyway, the game looks great. Hopefully no more delays.
  12. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, Steam is having a SteamOS sale. These are all titles that already are on SteamOS/Linux or will be in the near future. This confirms some high profile games coming to Linux, including several Total War games, Company of Heroes 2, GRID Autosport, Saints Row 4 (which I already own and would love to play again on my desktop), Magicka 2, The Banner Saga, Batman: Arkham Knight, and (this one I'm extremely excited about as it's given me a serious case of Windows envy) Shadows of Mordor . There are a bunch of other great games on sale there that I didn't list here. Also, while not part of this sale, the upcoming Mad Max game is coming to Linux too (WB is getting really Linux friendly, this I like).
  13. I doubt it will. InXile's smashing success with Torment: Tides of Numenera shows that there is great potential for follow up success, particularly if your first project is well received, which PoE hopefully will be (by the backers, first and foremost, and the press, second).
  14. I imagine it is, you just need a mouse and keyboard with USB connections.
  15. It's down to the last 48 hours. I'm guessing it will finish somewhere around the 800k to 850k mark.
  16. Looks like we have our first "official" Steam Machine, the ZOTAC Steam Machine SN970: http://www.zotac.com/news/press-releases/article/archive/2015/march/article/zotac-steam-machine-takes-pc-gaming-beyond-the-computer.html I like the look of it. I'm a fan of simple and practical designs, rather than trying to get too fancy and "edgy" looking *glares menacingly in Nvidia's new fugly as sin Shield console's direction*. It will have a 6th gen Intel CPU (Skylake?), a 64 GB M.2 SSD (presumably for the OS) and a 1 TB HDD (presumably for games and storage). Judging by the name, the GPU will likely be a GTX 970, which, lawsuit aside, is a damn good GPU. No word yet on pricing or when it will hit the market.
  17. Well that's a surprise. Cool I guess, the more folks that get to play it the better. Plus, we're getting all those Unity 5 enhancements and added perks and voice overs in the PC version too, so even better. I'll put my Supreme Jerk playthrough on hold (I only just started and am going through Highpool) until the update with all these changes and goodies goes live, that way if I have to restart to take advantage of all the new perks and stuff, it won't be that big a deal.
  18. Getting started with Pier Solar and the Great Architects. Pretty standard 16-bit era jRPG so far. I'm a bit bummed I haven't been able to loot barrels and crates so far. I've found my share of treasure chests, and those are cool and all, but looting barrels and crates is jRPG tradition.

  20. Scooped up Pier Solar during the Double Insomnia Sale for under $5. I'm down for a 16-bit style jRPG and worst case scenario is that I'm out 2 cups of coffee.
  21. ^ That art style makes me want to punch my monitor
